Yeah, middle is to combine the Synthetics and organics, but destroy mass relays, right is control the reapers and enslave organics (pretty much), and the left kill all the Reapers, but the Synthetics will overwhelm the organics anyways in a few thousand years.

Irregardless of whether or not he beat the game. There are still a minority of the fans that seemed to like the endings. I hated it but I'm not gonna judge those who like it.Harbinger of your Destiny wrote...

I loathed the endings, but I don't pretend that everyone did.
Anyway, to answer your question, you can either go right and shoot the machinery to take the "destroy" path, you can go left and grab the lightning terminals to take the "control" path, or you can walk forward and jump into the beam to take the "synthesis" path. There are various different breakdowns of what happens based on how well you performed, but overall it's three categories and varying levels of destruction for each.

Yes, i did not like the endings, but at least they gave the game a half decent send off.
I wont judge the entire game based upon the last 5 mins.
