I do not mean to attack any specific person at Bioware here... but with this, with DA2, and the huge issues in TOR...
It seems that Bioware as a company has become increasingly about mad cash grabs with no respect for their players. It has become a company that refuses to own up to its mistakes. And as someone that purchased every single game that Bioware has, someone that has adored the company since it was Black Isle, this is terribly depressing to me.

And I already have convinced two friends who were going to get the game to NOT get the game until we see where the heck this all goes. So, while it is not much, -2 sales Bioware. If everyone else convinces someone . . . 10,000 or so failed sales is more than half a million bucks. See if that matters to Bioware.
Further, I have in the past convinced people to buy Bioware titles and now I won't. Three people I know play Bioware titles because I convinced them how awesome they were. Now, I'll be taking the opposite approach.

Oh look... please repost this around.
"Are there alternative endings depending on what you do in the game?
It's not so much that there is a fixed set of alternative endings, but all of your choices really determine how things end up in the universe. So, how you approach the end-game, for every player, you're going to have a different set of results in terms of who is alive and who is dead, and which civilisations survived and which ones were wiped out.
There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things - it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who plays it."

Mike Gamble did Tweet that they were listening, and that they will make a statement when ready, therefore its logical to assume they will, when ready and have had time to brainstorm and reflect, issue a statement/message. kneejerk reactions are not what we want, give them some time to formulate a reply.
Link please?

They will never ever change the endings OR confess thet the endings were bad. Why? That would be a certificate of poverty about all their work. They would acknowledge having failed on everything they tried making this game a good one.

What are you people expecting? They will most likely say; "Sorry that you don't like the ending but we decided to end the game and the story of Shepard this way because we thought is the best."

no, no one was complaining about the rest of the game. The outrage is at the horrible endings. Them admitting that the endings are bad doesn't say that the rest of the game is bad, the fact that people care so much about it and are complaining about nothing else about the game aside from minor bug fixes should be an indication to the quality of the rest of the game.

Also its appaling that bioware clearly dont give two donkey ****s about us fans and choose to lock down threads and ignore the growing problems instead of clarifying major issues for us. More than likely I think if we do get a response it will be along the lines of "just deal with it and **** off", not to mention the act of completely changing a major game ending with dlc or a patch is extremely unlikely and far fetched given the mess that would turn into.
Bioware had their chance to end an amazing game with an incredible ending but instead they rush a ****** poor conclusion to a 5 year long series while alienating over 80% of the fanbase. And now they ignore us as they have our money.
They better answer for all this catastrophe and must clearly realise that what they have done has destroyed the motivation to replay not only ME3 but the entire ****in franchise including the books and graphic novels!!!
p.s i love the idea of the dark energy original ending thats floating around here. Would have been a much more satisfying yet adult conclusion to a staggeringly beautiful game series.

That is not the point. It's about that people never confess that they're not good at what they are doing (espacially in artistic work). Even if it's just 5%. Let me put it like this: Michael Bay makes utterly well produces movies. CGI and action that just blows you away. But did you ever hear him saying; "Aw sorry guys for making such ****ty unlogical movies"?ninjaman001 wrote...

I just thought I'd like to address everyone's thoughts in a request for a public statement from Bioware regarding the ending of Mass Effect 3.
This public statement would not be required to release any specific details on your plans to combat your fans' opinions. This statement would be required to confirm or deny said plans to address the public outrage exist, and would be required to confirm or deny that said plans are being actively addressed.
Those two requirements are in place to remove any doubt concerning the existence of plans to reconcile your long-standing relationship with your fans, yet simultaneously allow you to not immediately announce what these plans involve.
It is recommended that this proposed announcement would be available to the public by Monday, March 12th at noon EST. This date and time allows the European fan-base to properly play and experience the current ending without the chance of having it spoiled directly or indirectly through any statements made in your announcement.
Sincerely, 98% of your vocal fan-base (29,100 and counting).
Please "+1" or "bump" this thread to show your support for an official statement from Bioware. We need to get something from them soon, or else it will be miserable for everyone.
I had no idea Bioware only had 29k crying fans? lol I guess the other millions are just faking it how awesome they are but playing their games anyway?
You guys are getting really old fast. I give Bioware a lot of credit.. a lot having to work so hard and then seeing the lot of you whining all the time, but I suppose its your right to cry, but how far is too far before its just SPAM
