People, many of us have been quite A-holish after the end of ME3. Granted it was bad, there are hundreds of opinions where people have stated it and Bioware knows.

I myself said some stupid things on my own threads, such as 'losing faith in Bioware' and 'Maybe even canceling my SWTOR Account.' I honestly was just typing out of grief for the end of my story. I invested a lot into the Development of Mass Effect as a member of the Community, from the days it was consoles only with me on the net patitioning to have it brought to PC. To me shelling out extra cash on ANYTHING Bioware put out even remotely connected to Mass Effect.

I'm not gonna stop playing Bioware games and I don't think you should either people.

Bioware, I wanted to apologize, I was dissapointed deeply by the ending. The lack of resolve or even ability to see what happened later in the game involving all the choices I made. But I took it out in the wrong way. I put down the Company unfairly. I mean the rest of the game was perfect, 5 star material.

Please accept my apology.

Also to the ME Community who also wrote as I did, I want you to join me in apologizing to Bioware. You know in your heart you love what they did and made.

Please post your own confession here, and make sure it ends with an apology for something you feel you unfairly wrote towards Bioware.

-Raymond K.

EDIT 1: (Added after so many people drifted off topic.)

You guys missed my point. This isn't a 'Your complaints are wrong thread.' This is a "I went to far in defaming you." thread for the crowd that really did go too far.

What Bioware needs is supportive people, they know our disappointment and have to act fast. But due to quality and testing even if the called in Meir, Hale, the whole cast in a cab tonight to show up to fix this they'll have a lot of work to do.

The people who shouldn't apologize are the people who made their right critique and left it at that.

The people who should are the people who wrote hateful disparaging things about the writers, remarks about quitting Bioware. etc. When they didn't mean it. This is NOT a partition thread for more endings. It's a thread to try to make the staff feel a little hope. They just finished Mass Effect 3, They SHOULD be enjoying the release of their game. NOT crying over one mistake.

YES the ENDING NEEDS WORK! Everyone agrees. Hell if they had later content that followed the ending up they should have hinted at it or not made it feel so surreal, but THIS IS NOT THAT THREAD!

Now those of you participating BE NICE to Bioware, Apologize or move your complains to the other threads. I respect Bioware's work on this game. And I at least want them to know that SOME PEOPLE who spoke too far who've been loyal to this day still care. It's not a matter of the ending but supporting a good team and overall, as a whole standing with our heads held high as a community! DAMN!

This thread is a breath of fresh air with all the hostility towards Bioware lately. Hopefully other fans will follow your example OP. =]

I said I won't purchase another Bioware product and I meant it. It's clear the direction they are taking their games, and their writing, and it's not a direction my money will be following them in.

i guess the meanest thing i said was, "im not going to buy another mass effect game"

i guess this is harsh... ive expressed how much i love ME3, and that not buying another is based off of the ending alone. but thats semi hypocritical of me. ive always been about gameplay over story.

but god damn...... that ending made me sick. they did good work, but nobodys perfect. i dont hate them, i dont hate bioware. i just hate that ending.

hell i even loved DA2...... enough that i never even touched the DA forums

If I wasn't recently **** slapped by the three ending "choices" I'd be inclined to apologize. I've been honest in my critique, I enjoyed the game but the endings ruined everything. It made all my actions and preparation inconsequential. It ruined the whole game for me, no matter how enjoyable the game play was up to that point. It just can't wash away the wrong of the endings.

I am not sorry. Ending is the most important thing for a game. Brings closure. After all I been through with the series all that ending did was bring bitterness and anger. I spent all the money on there games so I shouldn't feel that way. Bioware should be sorry we feel like this.

Nothing I wrote was unfair to Bioware. I'm not apologizing for them ending a game badly. Big boy EA/Bioware doesn't need your protection from angry fans.

Frankly, all of the hostility directed at BioWare because of the ending is well deserved.

That said, I also do not feel like I owe BioWare any sort of apology because I have, in the space of a few hours, been able to illustrate multiple better endings than what they gave us, point out how the ending they provided for us hurts their ability to profit from the franchise, and how the ending they gave us could have been saved by using LESS resources than they did use.

Sorry, but when you have people that are reasonably understanding, like AdmiralCheeze and my self, sincerely stating that 1, last sequence of the game has soured the entire series, there is an issue.

I came to this thread expecting proper contrition from Bioware in the form of an apology to its customers.

What a bloody letdown.Much like ME3.

They took my money. No way im gonna apologize for that. Honestly, they should do the apologizing because they delivered an unfinished product and flawed product instead.

I'm not apologizing, myself.
I did thank Bioware however for the great game they created. If you remove the ending, this game is nothing short of amazing and I enjoyed every last minute of my playthrough.

That being said, I'm not following them or their games anymore. Too many disappointments.

Agreed, at best, I'll play all that came before Mass Effect 3, at worst I will refuse to buy or play anything they sell. I've never done this before, because it feels like a dear friend betraying me, with Activision, it was just sense to not support their horrid business policies. But with Bioware, I never expected this, and that's probably why it hurts. You looked forward to a great finale, the developers telling you that you'd get six endings, six distinct endings based on how you handled things...and instead we get 3 with meaningless variations, no closure, plot holes, and more questions. TVTropes depresses me further because it seems like they're trying to sweep the problem under the rug.

Style over substance would indicate this was a 'style', it's not, it's an atrocity that had no right to be in a game - in a STORY - like this, the Deus Ex aesop felt forced as all hell and people defending it have little ground to stand on. I'm not even angry anymore, I just feel like I don't care about anything anymore, this was one of the greatest scifi universes I've ever seen...and it was destroyed in mere minutes.

I will not apologize for what I've said, but then again, I don't think I've said anything inflammatory - I wasn't one of the "NEVAR AGAIN" crowd. I will, in all likelihood, continue to play their games and their DLC, because nobody else tells a story that makes me care about the characters or the outcome as much as Bioware does.

That said, I won't pretend that I wasn't completely crushed by this ending, and I still feel depressed and betrayed by how things turned out. I've played this series a lot - per my steam "hours played" log, I have about 700 hours played in ME1 and ME2 combined. There's a lot of investment there, and seeing it concluded like this makes my world just a little bit darker, a little bit more sad.

It hurts.

My words are sincere and my critiques are based on reason and fact instead of grudge. I even told my own idea of how to make a better ending without too much fix (in the mega thread) so I don't know what I should apologize for. Now I won't make Bioware apologize, because a game design group has many strings attached, and I'm not sure who to blame without inside info. But it's for sure not my fault to be heart-broken by the ending.

I'm not going to apologize for being upset about spending hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours on a game trilogy whose last 5 minutes kick me in the nads. Like it or not, the ending is a very important part of the story and they murdered it.

I had complete and utter faith in this company and I convinced friends and family to get this game. I think I deserve better than some stupid Kid VI coming up and spewing some bull**** about different colored lights.

I will never forgive what Bioware did to ME3. Instead, I expect apology from Bioware
