Bioware seems to imply that the entire ME series is the fabrication of a grandpa. "tell me another story about the Shepard". What? The ME series is supposed to be the Shepard story. After you finish, the grandpa tells another? All the more reason it seems its just a damn made up story.

^ Indeed, the point of a fictional universe is for it to be enthralling, to make you feel immersed, when it becomes a story told by a crappy CGI model with a bad voice actor to a shrunken adult male CGI model with a bad voice actor, it breaks that immersion, which is bad. The way I see it the Catalyst headbutts you to leave you disorientated, than the Stargazer comes in and takes a hammer to your testicles.

What if Shepard destroy ending with him survive is canon and CS scene is a message for an upcoming huge dlc or expansion like they had for Dragon age awakening.

Remember ME2 you could have your Shepard killed and they said you wont be able to import that save, so Control and Synthesis are the same answer to ME2 shepard dead ending, and destroy is the true ending, and we could see more of Shepard through DLC
