most of the "diffuse" or call it what eva you want to call it are in 1024x1024 , the normal maps in this game are usually 512x512 256x256 depends for what it is , weapons are kinda lower 256x256 or so //Edit : it seems even the armors and so on are in 256x256.//end.edit// , specular maps are usually half of the diffuse ones or the same as diffuse .
If i was doing all these textures . I would do
Characters
Diffuse 3200x3200 [at least 2048]
Spec 1600x1600 [at least 1024] specular , should have information on how much light it will reflect on which part of the material [ still in games you have simple dumb static specular but whatever]
Normal maps 3200x3200 [at least 2048] you can make normal maps from the diffuse ones but i think most pros do that by adjusting it and then converting it [like nvidia normal map filter or so] still i think i am getting lost since these normal maps in this game are kinda strange , sometimes i think they are not normal map or something else
The textures looks that were almost done in the same way as you do in wings 3d UV and then you do the texture
anyway i will stop here before i will make a bigger fool out of me .

I have redownloaded/installed the game, but it hasent fixed it self. I get to see the game icon but as soonest i press on it a black square pops up but then quickly closes afterwards. Not launching the game at all. And i havent even done anything to the game files after i just installed it.
I wonder if this is 1.2s fault.
Seems like i have to redownload it all over again -.-, and delete the ME3 folder entirely.

Yea i have some old me2 mods for squadmates loaded until the me3 ones are created. They work as long as the appearance of the squadmate didn't change from 2 to 3. I disabled them and everything is cool.

While what the person said in that tutorial above did actually make the notepad file into a batch file, it dident work when i tried renameing ''MassEffect3'' to ''MassEffect3.bat''. So nope that dident help either im afraid
Edit: I keep getting ''D'OH!'' everytime i start up the game with texmod aswell.
