I (and probably other people) saw your request - it doesn't seem incredibly hard, but it's probably low on other's list of stuff they want to do. If I had literally nothing else I wanted for the game, I'd get to work on it. But there's 10 things I'd like to do first.

Having just tried this recently, you should try to follow SaltisGood's tutorials. It's actually not as hard as you think and it's actually fun to have creative control over your own stuff.

For now, I continuous updating some characters, when I finish them all, will share together in the Post, today I want to review the textures of collectors (Retaliation DLC MP), and if I can I would like to create a pack of them in high resolution.
We'll see. :D

I did the Collector's Armor from ME2 and ME3. So I've actually done texture work with similar textures before. The textures for the new DLC aren't all that bad compared to some. The Troopers are unchanged vs. Javik's DLC. The Collector Captain is new and a lighter color. The swarms are the little bug things and you can't see them well enough to bother with them. The Collector Scion is all new. It replaces ME2's Husk Scion. Model and textures are all different. The Abomination is the same as the Husk, but red. I already did a normal map and specular light map for that one based on your mod. We just need the file names and we can do that one probably in 10 minutes or less. The Praetorian has a similar look as he did in ME2, but he has a lot more articulation and a new model. He's the one I'd really like to see you work on. 

I have a feeling his textures are right up your alley. I look at him and get the sense that your style is perfect for it. It's more mechanical and less organic than the others. It is also probably the biggest single job since it is likely more than one texture group like the Brute. 

I'd like to go for the Trooper and the Captain, I can port your mod over for the Husk into the Abomination. If you take on the Praetorian, I think we'll probably finish about the same time. Whoever gets done first can probably tackle the Scion.

Well the abomination isn't as easy to switch from Blue to Red using the other mod as I thought it would be. I can still work with it though.

Excellent.

Husk has been converted to the Abomination. (Textures are virtually identical aside from coloration.)

I've also made a minor edit to the alternate armor for Tali: I reduced the normal map intensity because it made parts of the texture look plastic and fake.

I'm sure I'll return to these eventually after I figure out more stuff as learn more and make other different edits, and they're far from perfect, but I like them in game a lot more than the defaults. If anyone wants to, they're free to edit them and improve them to their desires. But of course send that edit to me. :V

I think I'm going to do that knife I requested materials for next, but that won't take long. Then I'll either do Tali's DLC armor from ME2 for ME2 and ME3 (which would just be a recolor of Jean-Luc's texture) or the car interior/exterior you see in ME3 with Garrus on the citadel and in a few missions in ME2 that looks _totally_ awful.

I tried to screw around with that burn texture I mentioned earlier but I didn't really like how it looked.

Testing both collectors and the abomination now. We'll see how it goes. The textures weren't too aweful, but their normal maps were horrendous as you can imagine. Both share the same light map. I gave them the same treatment I gave Shepard's collector armor overall. Though these were easier without the carbon fiber bits, armor straps, and stuff like that having to be done as well.

Thanks! I learned a lot making it. It was kind of fun, really - the worst part of it was convincing myself it was doable.

There's something relaxing about just focusing for hours on an artistic project.

Ah, nice! Looks a lot closer to the old scion - couldn't even see the resplendence in game before. (Might be because these are a lot closer, but either way, those are beautiful.)

Abomination is done. I'm making an adjustment to the eyes of the Collector Captain and Collector Trooper. Basically I'm going to do some more bump mapping on those. Once that's done, I'll do a final round of tests and send you the files.
