Original Harrier texture was created by smarteck (Weapon Cerberus Harrier Dark Edition HR).
I just replaced the Cerberus logo with the Spectre emblem. And recolored the yellow stripes.

Please someone tell me there's going to be HR textures for the new DLC characters. I was playing as the Turian Cabal, and she has the worst textures I have ever seen!

That's very likely... :)

I think the user The Darkest Soul (previously known as GoldenSkans9), is the one who has contributed with most of the MODs for the multiplayer, he might surprise us soon... I hope :P

You must not have seen the Collector character, a pixelated blob is all he is. :sick:

Just found this page the graphics mods look stunning. Just wanted to ask is there a pack which has all of them all together or do you have to download each one at a time ?

For easy download .. try Skydrive site.. make right click over the folders and you can download a lot of files at the same time.

Thanks for the reply. Is their anyway to add those files all at once instead of putting them in one at a time every time you boot up ME3.

Not yet.. the MOD is ready.. but when I edit that first page is a nightmare !!!.. every time I lost all the format of the post and I need to make all again...<_<

Hi I managed to find out how to add multiple files at once but it is still not changing anything. I have followed the instructions and created the .bat file for renaming the ME3.exe and made sure that the directory location was correct but everytime I load it just loads the default rather than the new texture have tried this a number of time using the EDI texture but her armor does not change anthin I'm doing wrong.

If someone is interested, I'm working on new textures for the visible weapon mods (scopes, barrels etc.). But I could take awhile. The default resolution is 64x64. I'll aim for a 512x512 resolution. It's difficult to see the different layers in that scale. But I'll do my best.

@variobunz: I had a look at those a while ago too, such a pain in the ass to discern any detail at that size, I decided against it personally. That you're going to try is commendable.

@Damicles: The culprits are often either your virusscanner is blocking use, or you aren't manually browsing to and selecting ME3's exe in the batch-process.

As to my own endeavors, here is a sneakpeak to the bulk armor retexture for Kaidan and Vega:

I have selected the MassEffect3.exe file in the modtexture and added the packages that I want it loads the game but nothing has been changed heres the .bat that I used

This may be the wrong place to ask, but since my question is related to textures -- someone may have an answer.

I've been trying to open a norm .DDS file into Paint.NET/PhotoShop, however it's saying that there is an 'unspecified error' when doing so. The Spec and Diff files load fine, but the norm one does not load for me.

File in question: HMF_ARM_CTHb_Nav_Norm_Stack.dds which is found in biog_hmf_arm_cth_r/CTHb/AllianceNavy (I've been using ME3Explorer to extract the files).

@Damicles: I have a batchfile you can download here, That's the one I use, I can't help beyond that I'm afraid.
Texmod with ME1 and 2 was never really an issue like ME3, as they both don't require Origin to run. Only really a pain in the ass with Steam, but I have no experience with that seeing I own all three via Origin.

@Refar: I grab textures using texmod, so I'd have no idea if there's a difference. I have no issues opening norms though.
It sometimes happens files will become corrupted after saving, but that's apparent by their size, and wouldn't seem like something that could have happened in your situation. Sorry, I can't help.

I'd try it in combination with a texmodded weapon, so you can see if the textures 'fit together' if that makes sense. Avenger stock is horrid. But from what I can see, it does look good, can you flycam for a closeup?

I would personally go with a texture more recognizable as metal (more of a directional grain) and work more shading into the diffuse. This offers a really good base though to work in some more depth detail. But this is just my opinion.

Thanks for the response --- I tried getting the .dds this way, but still no success. You could help me though, if you're willing and have some spare time of course :lol:

I'm just curious if this file I mentioned earlier opens for anyone else -- if it does, at least then I could see that it's a problem on my end. In addition, if worst comes to worst, could download the properally edited file (takes about 10 seconds) from someone who could open the file,  but before we go there, I'd really appreciate it if someone had some spare time to check this out.

I understand if you're too busy -- just thought I'd check and put this out there for anyone else who is willing to help
