Is it possible to extract/remove individual textures from tpf packages? While I am in love with the textures here (definitely worth the five minute wait to load), I found with the Normandy interior textures I vastly preferred the plain white over the N7 bedspread. It's not a dealbreaker, but if I can take out the texture myself, I will. Thanks in advance.
you need TPFextract GUI for that, and then Rebuild the TPF without that texture(s).
Good luck.

Pick which version you like best!
To get the new mesh into your game It has to override the original mesh located in your C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\CookedPCConsole. If you have not edited any mesh files there before you don’t have to worry about using ME3Explorer as you can simply override your old files with the ones included. The readme gives instructions about what to put where!
You would only need ME3Explorer to update your PCConsoleTOC.bin (see this great tutorial for more info: http://me3explorer.f...shing-t131.html) if your had previously edited mesh files in the CookedPCConsole. It sounds like you haven’t so once you download the mesh and follow the override instructions you should be good to go!
@ Tarkov33 I feel your pain!

I recently downloaded the Ashley bun mod. I love it. However, I have what look to be some clipping issues along the hairline, like so...

Now I've seen screenshots of much smoother hairlines. Could I have somehow installed it wrong? Or is it just my somewhat elderly computer showing its age? If this is the best I can get it, it's still leaps and bounds better than the long hair. Just wondering if I can't make it a little bit better...

If i recall from the readme I read ( I downloaded but didn't want to install until after Citadel therefore I don't want to install and update...ALL OVER AGAIN) but there is a texture you have to run alongside it. I'm not sure if it's a TPF (texmod) or an actual mod...iakus wrote...

Hello,
I have decided to postpone some things for some time, in order to collaborate with perhaps my last HD Pack for Mass Effect 3.
In all this time, I have learned many things editing textures and for this new Pack, I'll do my best.
Already posted.
> Total textures edited: "451". Added some last textures, useful for those who play with FemShep...
> Actual loading time of the pack: about 5 minutes (with DDR3 RAM).
> Extra RAM Consumption: About 2GBs.

Yeah this is with both the TPF and the files installed. (unless I missed a step in texmod, but it seemed prety simple) Guess it's just the result of a creaky old machine then

Hm, I just tested the textures with Texmod myself and they seem to be running fine…Have you run any texture replacements before? Maybe try running the .tpf by itself in Texmod in case something else is overriding it?
Thank you also for the kind words and if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to PM me!

@ iakus Don’t worry – it is not meant to have that much clipping! When Ashley’s hair looks like this it means that you are successfully running the mesh part of the mod (congratulations!
) but not yet the textures. So that’s the game using Ash’s default hairstyle textures over the new mesh which is why it looks a bit weird!

I've done a little with ME2, but not ME3. Only other mod I'm running with ME3 is MEHEM.
Upon further investigating, it looks like I mised the step in getting texmod to run with Origin. I did the temporary name-swapping thing and the hair looked fine.

I'd like it if the armor had some grime or wear. Not necessarily blood (although that would certainly be satisfactory), just anything to make the armor look like it had already seen some action.
Thanks a bunch for your work. The texture as is remains a huge improvement over the original as far as I'm concerned.
