How do you uninstall this?
Easy, remove the files of the win32 folder (only the MOD files) or press "pause key" in game to disable.

I dislike that everything looks even greyer than before, though I appreciate the hi-res.
Still not worth the effort of another run.
PLEASE download the mod and open the application "fxaa_tool.exe" and customize the parameters of saturation and sharpen.
The improvement is huge

Anyway, I appreciate someone is trying to improve things. It still needs work though. ^^

As one can see right in the first comparison screens the mod also washes out colors. Vegas skin color changes from realistic to something...well it looks dead.
Anyway, I appreciate someone is trying to improve things. It still needs work though. ^^
For example:
I use an LG LED TV, with 70 degree color, sharpness 80 and color temperature C40. In Nvidia Panel: contrast 80 and Digital vibrance 75
You must open "fxaa_tool.exe" and customize "saturation" and "sharpen" for your monitor / TV.
It's like when you set the image of a TV for the first time

Granted...but let me ask an important question then: The person who did the screenshots for comparison...why did he not customize saturation and sharpness in a way that colors still look the same; skin like skin, for instance?
Maybe you could correct this, upload new screenshots and show people that they can get sharper textures without loosing colors.
Thanks in advance.

Done, I've added new screenshots with different levels of saturation.

I got a problem with the FXAA injector, Mass Effect 3 won't start anymore when I try to run it with FXAA. When I try to launch the game, I can see that it's loading but the game doesn't even start. I tried the origin fix but it doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone else having that problem?
FIXED: if you run into the same problems, try running masseffect3.exe as administrator

ENB looks way better than this mod. Except for the high resolution textures on Kaiden/James. Bring out more textures for all the characters and I'll give you a nicer review.
I try first with the "ENB mod", but gave me not good results .. the picture looks very dark, not sharpen ... I downloaded several ENB, but none convinces me .. advantage of the software "FXAA TOOL" is that you can configure all aspects of the image to your liking and gave me excellent results .. everything looks very clean and defined.
For example Vega's armor, Cerberus soldiers, rocks, etc , with TOOL FXAA look great without having to create texture HD. Not so the armor of Kaidan or Liara (which I am about to finish), because it is pixelated (default they are 1024x1024).
But the good thing is that we have the 2 options .. depends on the visual taste of each one of us.
PS: I am very tired editing textures, is not an easy job .. but the end result is very good.

Your image with this ENB injector SHOULD be darker, as it's supposed to be paired when you force Ambient Occlusion on through NVIDIA Inspector. As it is, Mass Effect 3 is too glimmering bright like you're watching some Barbie doll get-together for 15 hours.

You're using the wrong setup for ENB then. The one I'm using has FXAA_TOOL.EXE built in already. Also, the ENB I use uses a different d3d9.dll injector that looks better with Ambient Occlusion.

Thanks for the link.. I re-downloaded the ENB mod, but it is giving me better results using only the application FXAA TOOL.
But thank you very much for the TIP

How do you install the texture mods? Do you need tex mod or can you just Drag and Drop them into the appropriate folder?
- Download Texmod software
- Open
- Click on "Folder icon" (in "target application" section)
- Select MassEffect3.exe (...\\Mass Effect 3\\Binaries\\Win32)
- Click on the mini folder icon (above the red "X")
- Select the .tpf Texture MOD
- And press "RUN"
*Remember disable in Origin settings function called "Origin in the game".
if it fails, you will need to follow these instructions:

Enjoy
