I hope you haven't given up on this! That looks amazing!  And, in worst case scenario, you have abandoned this project, I'd enjoy a beta release as is!

She hasn't been given up on, in fact she's nearing completion. I hope to have her finished by the end of the week, but here's some sample pics for the time being. Just bear in mind she's still a work in progress and there's still quite a few things I'd like to fix.

:o

Just a tiny suggestion: be sure to update her spec map so that the trench coat reflects a bit like actual leather. ;)

I definitely will, I've got a few things left to fix on her diffuse still, but the majority of the work is in her spec map from here on out.

Ahh.. much better. Damn I'm tired of Javiks red armor after so many playthroughs, lol :D I guess if you don't want to recolor the original armor since it already have a high res texture, you could make a high res texture for his alt armor. Up to you though Smartek, I'm happy with whatever outcome as long as I can switch away from the red one :D WOOHOO!!!!

I wouldn't have thought of blue, but I really like that appearance.

And of course, nice to see that Jack texture coming along.

That Jack texture looks awesome! Damn, I wish I had waited for the end of this week to make the texture torrent.

I do not have plans for work on that armor... I really like the default N7 Armor in HighRes or the Dark N7-Spectre Ajax. :D

Maybe someone else can work on that... Or maybe you can do that  ... I can help you in some format things if you need.

Saludos. ;)

That's not fair man! What is it about that Reckoning armor that you have againest? Or the other DLC Armors like the Blood Dragon, Terminus and Cerberus Assault Armor, Inferno and Collector?

Is it Possible for someone to make different colors for Tech Armor? That would look awesome in blue.

Okay first of all, It's comepletely fair that he only works on what he wants to work on, since he's doing this in his spare time, and second, most, if not all of those armors, have already been modded to High Res. I'm sure that someone will make a High Res version of the Rechoning Armor if it hasn't been made already, and if they don't, well eaither learn to make it yourself if it means so much to you, or tough luck pal.<_<

I concurr with Mr. Eclispe. Making mods is a MAJOR timesink, not to be taken lightly. The effort should be considered and respected. Nobody's going to do anything for anyone that will take them a crap-heap of their own time because someone threw a tantrum-fit. At least I know I won't.

On a different note, Javik looks cool in blue Smartech.

There is a project for that for ME2, You could try to contact the creator directly and see if he can convert it. It might work out of the box, try that too. Sometimes the texmod id's stay the same over ME2/ME3.

You didn't really answer my question. What is it about that Reckoning armor that you have againest and refuse to work on it? I understand that modding is no easy task but that doesn't mean that you should just avoid it without any given reason. Like Mr. Eclispe said, nobody had done a version of the Reckoning Armor already. Every time i use smarteck's mods, it bothers me that the reckoning armor is not up to date with hi res tex and feels out of place.

Likely modders don't use it themselves (I don't), and nobody asked nicely enough for them to consider redoing it.
Again though, we don't work for you or owe you anything, nor do we have to justify where we stick our time.

Like who? i've searched across the boards and not one user had done the reckoning armor in hi res tex. Oh and 1 more thing, i don't do tantrum-fits. I hate it when people think of me like that. I'm just surprised that no one takes an interest in that even when not asked before the final dlc was released.

Also i do some mods that are easier then making tex ones, like adding war assets, ect.

Then perhaps it's time to give it a go.  Modding requires commitment.  Commitment is hard when you don't care about the texture.  So if you really want it, you'll probably make a really good high res texture.

Out of respect, i can't do complicated mods. it would be best if Someone already had experience with tex mods before. As i said before  i can do some mods that are easier then making tex ones.

I mean i've done mods but they were not Tex types before but it was only on Dragon Age and after DA2 was a flop, i quit afterwards after the last DA2 DLC was final.

That's what I used to think, that someone more qualified would be better off doing it.  But to be frank, I got tired of waiting for someone to do the asari characters, so I spent a month or so working out how textures worked. And I really wanted those textures.  Now, there's high res textures for asari characters.

Well it wasn't easy for me on DA2, cause i had a hard time with trying to swap outfits for different charcarters like the Grey Wardens with Alistar in act 2 when he came with his fellow wardens in his king's armor instead of a GW armor even when he didn't become King. Just felt out of place. After that, i heard that Bioware decided to pull the plug on Dragon Age 2 when they promised us more DLCs to it and that's when i quit afterwards after losing my respect for Bioware.

Hey smarteck, just want to say, good job on the Ajax texture. Are there plans for you to make the lights hi-res in the next version? Or is there some kind of limitation keeping you from doing that? It just seems really out of place that the lights are so low res right now (especially on the shoulder).
