jajajajaja... I do what I can so that the textures in HR have the smallest possible size.

With the Citadel, I give preference to compressed JPG format (at 90% quality) and I've been 40 groups of textures with levels D1, D2, 2 and 3. The current charge time of the citadel is quite fast.

In Normandy were 46 groups.

First of all big thanks for the Textures! They look great.

But I also cannot use the widescreen fixer and texmod at the same time.
The fov always irreversibly resets on a quickload. Is this a texmod compatibility problem?

you can change the FOV in some file in the installation folder , but i never touched it , don't wanna get banned for changing something that should be natural thing to change.. in options >_>

Anyway i don't take chances with EA ...
DXT5 DXT3 is good for images with Alpha channel
555 is good for simple diffuse . you need to remember to save normal maps in normal map extension , anyway just find some info on it , i need to go now again for 5 days...

Alrighty, I converted all the .tga files to .dds and used DXT5 compression in GIMP. Is the size better?

It is a nice program for some games.
It would be nice if there was a single pack for all the general textures.

Yeah. Due to the interference of the Origin program, you have to rename TexMod to trick Origin into opening it instead of ME3.

When you do that, you're also telling Widescreen Fixer that TexMod is actually ME3. So it tries to apply its fix to the wrong program in the wrong part of your computer memory and accomplishes nothing.

There's no fix for it, at the moment; it could be tweaked in Widescreen Fixer but it's not a priority for the coders. Our ideal solution, I think, is for someone to figure out how ME3 Explorer actually bloody works, and start recompiling pcc files with higher-rez textures and simply replacing the files in CookedPCConsole wholesale.

Sadly it seems like a one man operation. No one is getting involved. I would but I lack the graphic skill and focused time given I work 90 hours a week. Anyway, I would be hard pressed to pressure the OP for an ETA.

Sorry, "estimated time of arrival" or in other words, how much longer until the citadel textures are done? I'd like to try my hand at working on a few if need be.

Good effort on all the textures. The problem I have with these types of texture packs and the reason I never decide to download them is that the people that make them always seem to think that more is better. Take the normandy door for example, what I would consider should be smooth the texture pack makes incredibly scratched. All the faces have a lot more detail on them which doesn't work for females because smooth skin is coventionally attractive.

Use the "TPFextractGUI 1.4" to decompress the file .tpf, remove the textures that you liked and then again to compile with Texmod (on the first page are the signs).

Seems to be coded in C Sharp with source readily available.

What exactly are you looking forward to modify in this program? Maybe I could take a look.

Note: I've optimized as much as I could these textures, leaving the mostly in jpg format at 90% quality.

Use with "6. Interior of Normandy". Some objects are present in the Citadel. Objects of Normandy as the Citadel are used at different levels in the game.

Tip: Because it is a complex texture pack. if the game does crash, start Texmod, only with this group + inside the Normandy. And if all goes well, gradually add the other mods you want to use.

The first time I tried it with 24 other texture mods together, the game did crash on startup. But only after loading the textures for this post, I had no problems, then got out of the game and add textures that I have from other places and I had no more problems.
