Ok, here is what I tried. Some of HD mods from your pack have Russian names because it was Russian guy who gave me the pack, but they are identical to everything uplodaded here.
So first I tried to load only those mods that are named in English. It took around 3 minutes after which everything loaded up perfectly. After it I quitted the game and loaded couple of mods with Russian filenames and they loaded up too. Then, I mixed 2 English and 2 Russian and everything worked.
After it I tried to load all 60 mods again and game crashed like before.
I have powerful gaming PC with 8 Gb of Corsair RAM and GTX 660Ti with 2 Gb RAM so my PC resources can't be an issue at all and yes I have 64x Win7.
What I really think about that maybe some texture mods are confliciting between each other? I could enable them one by one of course to find out which one but it would take me a whole day lol. What do you think?

I think you are loading some NOT OPTIMIZED Mod... The problem is this: when you load  to many Mods the system is very unstable and if some TPF file have textures in jpeg, png, etc and not in DDS format, the game crash at the start or loading some save game.

Soo, Check the list of that TPF files and Try only with tose marked as OPTIMIZED 2 in the file name.

Ok I removed some mods now it's loaded I get menu music but there's a black screen only, no cursor, no menu...
Plus every time I want to run ME, I need to run that bat file again, then run Origin, then select all mods I need again, going though all  63 of them carefully, only then run and get black screen with main menu music. Seriously, this is rather pain in the ass...

Sounds to me like it could be partly 2 things. I had a problem with a mod that was doing weird things, so as Smarteck is saying, you'll just have to find which one it is. The other thing, is to make masseffect3.exe large address aware. I don't know if this is actually necessary anymore, but it was for me. Just google it, its simple to use.

Ok, I finally got it running. And it completely disappointed me. For example I installed HD black leather jacket and HD Cerberus Troops. Now take a look at this:

If this Atlas is HD 4096x4096 or even 2048x2048 then I'm Queen Eliazbeth.

Posted Image

I was hoping that HD black leather jacket will take care of those ugly black squares around handbands, but it seems that they stayed where they were, just got HD.

Plus my Widescreen Fix that changed FOV in game doesn't work now, I believe Texmod somehow interferes with it.

If you think that HD textures just don't work for me, it's wrong, Liara's alternative appearnce outfit became HD, but ugly as hell. Hackett is definitely HD and quite good, and also holo texts and displays are HD too.

i'm not sure I want to keep this mod as I have to wait for loading and it doesn't do anything useful in general, just some minor fixes and my FOV is horrible again as it was by default.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. I thought that black leathersuit that you can get through changing values in Coalsced.bin is the one that they had to improve. But it appeared to be that it's just regular brown one retextured. And it works fine. I also redownloaded some packs from here and they seemed different and they work fine. Thank you, great job.

Question/request: Would it be possible to match up the N7 Shadow's texture with the Cerberus Phantoms? IE: Cerberus logo instead of the N7 one, gold highlights on the equipment straps rather than white, and so on.

Also, what programs do you use to extract/recompile the textures into their proper forms for editing?

You mean about extract/recompile Mods already created? Or starting from zero?

How do I edit the colasced files?

I have download the GibbedMassEffect3.Coalesce application but when I try to run it nothing happens...

I really want to give my femshep ashley's hair but I need to know how to edit coalesced files to do it... PLEASE HELP!

Also, but the SweetFX thing, so do I just copy the folder "SweetFX ME3 Illumination MOD v1.0" into the ME3 exe folder? Because that folder is what contains all the other files and folders...

No, copy all the content of "SweetFX ME3 Illumination MOD v1.0" folder in your "Win32" game folder. :D

This sounds totally nooby but where's the ScrLk key? I can't find it anywhere...

Edit: Dw, figured out it's Function + Pause_Break button for Logitech MK320 keyboards.

Edit 2: OP, can you please be really helpful and upload the SweetFX presets you used in those videos for us noobs that can't figure it out??? :)

Then we can just import them, it'd be a good way to get downloads, have a caption in one of the videos saying "want your game to look like this?" and then make it link to this thread!

Or even anyone else that has figured out a really good cinematic look. I know there's a lot of personal feelings on what's better than what but if we could group presets then it would be easier to decide what group people are in.

Anyway, rambling, going back to game now. Will keep it off at the moment because the default setting didn't look very good, colours are faded.

The default settings it came with aren't very good.

On the SweetFX matter: I noticeed if you use LunarSharpen ( which makes environments etc. look pretty awesome) you mess up your dialogue wheels and subtitles in the process. Am I the only one having this problem?

Edit: OK, appearantly you can fix it by reducing the sharpening - changes almost nothing on the overall picture but does fix the blurry subtitles.

Like, say, just taking the existing retexture (since it's rather good) and just swapping out the N7 logo for a Cerberus logo in photoshop. So, yeah, probably using mods already created.

Read the instructions inside... Use the config.exe file for edit the parameters. For colors, set tonemap and edit Saturation.

good Luck!

Laptop layout function keyboards do a good job at hiding it hehe. I have a logitech as well, just something you'd 'need to know'. What can I say, I have small hands! Anyways, makes sense to me, logical it might sound silly to others though.

No worries.  I know that key doesn't get much use these days but I thought I was getting old!  Posted Image

Does anyone have a texture for Miranda's Citadel DLC Casino dress? I don't want to load the entire DLC mod pack.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to load ALL of these texture mods? I wonder what the boot time would be: 20 min?

I use just the MP skins (and about 5 weapons) w/ Texmod, and the start-up time for the game is about 3 1/2 min.

I load about 15-20, mostly squad and NPC clothing, and the interiors of the levels I am playing.  Takes about 3 to 4 minutes on my machine.  If I load the Citadel DLC Mod pack, it takes like 8-10 minutes.

It takes a very long time to load, that's why I suggest using .mod files to permanently replace the textures with high res ones.

I was under the impression that .mod files weren't going to be successful.

They are successful. Now. Check out Ottemis' thread.
