Looking at your wonderful link reminded me of the other thing I had a question about.

Garrus at the Citadel party. Is there a way to model swap him so he's wearing the tuxedo (ala clone part of the mission)? It just seems odd he'd wear his armor to the party, especially in bed.

 I probably just stupid but when I run my texmod after slelecting all my textures it just opens another texmod why is that?

sorry for being stupid it's my first time using it and I've checked other places to find an anwser with no success

@z3nkei: You essentially have to trick Origin into thinking it's booting ME3 but is really starting up Texmod, you should rename the EXE's for both texmod and ME3 back after texmod has launched, otherwise your texmod will start itself up (as it will still be called ME3.exe)
If you're doing the renaming action manually, you'll need to pay mind to go through all the steps in the renaming and booting process every time you want to run the game with texmod.
This is made easier by using a batchfile to almost automate the renaming process for you.

@YunaFire: I wouldn't know of a way, if there is a way at all, sorry.

z3nkei, you need to rename the file back to MassEffect3.exe

Also, Since the female is basically the same texture just things are mixed around differently, I'm going to take a break from them tomorrow and do the Batarian, then come back Friday with the Female :D

I followed it properly. I know because I always use texture mod in ME2 and ME3 also. But yours doesn't work. I even tried not importing the textures that I currently use, but it still won't work.

Guys I'm having a problem applying some DLC textures (Harrier,AAPs) with texplorer. I successfully apply the textures and update the filesizes in the TOC.bin but when i repack the DLC and i try to load the texture i changed the game crashes. Anyone here knows a solution to this?

And you realize how low the resolution is.  Of course, Tali is the focus here, and you can tell her model is
low-res...Ugh....any pointers? Anybody got an idea how to change this?? :huh:

I don't know how garry's mod works,but if it works like 3d max you can easly import the HD texture of that armor in the program. Just download the tpf file extract it with tpfextract and that's it. Also if it doesn't work you should probably apply the textures manually with texplorer or with a .mod file,so the model will be loaded with the HD textures.

So a while back it was suggested to start the game in windowed mode so that the game could load all the files and the computer would remain usable instead of staring at a blank screen for 8 minutes. I figured I'd just be having to switch between full screen and that small windowed screen until recently I figured out the best of both worlds.

Just keep the game in borderless windowed mode at your screen's resolution. The game will load minimized and then start up when it's all loaded. It pretty much is the same as playing in full screen mode since it takes up every pixel of your resolution.

I might just be the last one to figure this out, but if I'm not, hope this helped someone.

Hey guys I just got rid of my old 2 gig ddr 2 sticks I had a total of 4 gigs and replaced them with 2 4 gig ddr 3 corsair vengence. Will that be enough for the citadel pack?

8 GB of system memory is plenty. I believe, however, that VRAM is generally the limiting factor when using Texmod.

My game just keeps crashing in 8 out of 10 attempts to play it when using Texmod & mods from this thread here.

I am using very much mods (something between 50 & 60) and the game keeps crashing after the intro screen (it freezes for one second, then i can go on to the main menu -> Me3 has stopped working)

Playing on 2880x1620 (Downsampling). Without Texmod everything just seems to work fine but does not look very good :(

Disable in game Origin overlay (Origin in the game function).

also try using only that MODs with "OPTIMIZED 2" in the file name. Sometimes when you use to many MODs and one or more are whit textures in JPEG or PNG for example.. the game crash. a

For my part, what you see on first page is all. :P 

I'll keep reading this post from time to time in case someone has any problem. But that's all. I finished my contribution to this game. :D
