Selling Graphical updates as DLC? You people are crazy.

This is EA we are talking about here. It is all about "show me the money!" :pinched:

Uh.. what slider should I move in the FXAA Tool to brighten up the image? It's great otherwise but just a bit too dark.

They should've released the game with high-quality textures in the first place, to be honest.

I mean, seriously. Smarteck just retextured the entire Citadel. Egads. I'm replaying ME1, so I've yet to see how it works and looks on my computer, but dude, thank you so much for all the work you're putting into these.

The least Bioware can do is give a us a way to properly install mods in the game, texmod just isn't that good and there are always problems with it.

EA big plan is to take all its properties to an online (read as multiplayer) environment and mods simply don’t jive with existing systems such as platforms and DLC –etc…  and hurt enhanced revenue streams so it will do what it can stymie the modding community.

Thanks, Fog to 6 works nice. I never even thought about the ingame brightness setting, I feel stupid.
Haven't used the higher textures yet, but maybe some day. Still great work on them, they look really crisp.

The high rez textures are awesome. Hopefully someone will figure out how to work the mass effect 3 extractor so we can just replace the textures straight in the game files as currently it takes Mass Effect 3 forever to launch with texmod when loading all the textures at the beginning.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but where is the .exe file for ME3 located? I'm going to give LAA a try but it needs the .exe path. I looked in the Origin Games folder and it's not there, and there is no separate "Mass Effect 3" folder as there were in the previous 2.

Why does the Normandy look like its walls and flooring have scorching on them? It's just been retro-fitted and I'd think the interior would've had any metal that has any scorching replaced?

Doubt it. If you've ever been in a military ship it's never pristine clean. Even in its "top condition".

Additionally, metal doesn't just come out looking all shiny. It's going to be scratched from the scorching and cutting, etc. It's only after it's been buffed out for x amount of hours that it looks shiny and new. ;)

Guys, there's no point trying to add images to the Post, only *image removed*. I tested creating a new post, copying all the content, and if you can see the pictures, but in this post seem to be prohibited.

That Bioware will be put on a blacklist or something? hopefully not deleted. I have a hard time creating it. :pinched:

I think there is a limit to the number of images per post. if you have the second post in this thread then post to it or make a new post and put a link to it in the first one. Alternatively you can start a new thread and post to it three or four times with "reserved" being the text for the second to the last post. Oddly enough I dont see any images in your first post.

Anyway, if you need a host site PM and I'll let you use my domain.

Thanks for the Domain option, but let's stay here, I ask for help managers to see if they correct it.
On the other hand, I discovered the problem .. is a design error on the forum. If you are new user can not use pictures to last 7 days, I can now use images in replies and new post, the problem is that as I thought this post on the first day I registered, the post became unable to contain pictures, administrators did not consider the post contain images allowed after 7 days.
A disappointing mistake.<_<
Anyway, let's continue with what we have on hand.

Wouldn't think they'd allow texture mods, given the fact that weapon pack DLCs consist primarily of retextured weapons.

I was not talking about moving but hosting the files and images no worries however.

man why do you have to make the default armor so goddamn gorgeous! Now I'm torn between either admiring your beautiful work or use other armor parts for bonus :(
(In case it isnt clear enough, that is a compliment)

So can you proceed to enhance other collected/bought armor parts as well? :P

Forgive the delay in my response, but the moment you wrote the question was on other things and forget. My intention is to cooperate, editing many textures as necessary to make the game look like everyone expected.

My priority is to take the default textures first (armor and suit). A user by PM told me his intention of working on the suit and armor alternatives, would be great for everyone.

Those who encourage, on the first page of the Post are the instructions to create textures in HR.

I also recommend you regularly visit the projects of other users in search of more textures

Too bad the Origin overlay won't work with the FXAA plugin. Seems like joining/inviting friends in multiplayer is impossible without it.

Nice texture mods, you're improving at every one you make. Any chance you some high-rez enviroments for ME1 and 2? The Normandy(s) at least would be sweet.
