Depends on your RAM on the graphics card and system in general. If you run out of RAM, you're going to get a crash since the game is incapable of loading everything.roivasff14 wrote...
How much files can we load with texmod at the same time? I only managed so far to launch the game with only 1 mod, tought I'll be able to launch the game with at least all dlc mod & optimised for team/NPC but it always end with a crash at the end.
Seems like I've to make some choices ><
Downside of texmod vs me3 explorer, with me3 explorer mod i was able to use all pack ;o;

Well i checked the ram use, i've 6 Go & with the mods i selected, the game got to around 4go before it crash, was around 80% use of the ram by all programs running so not sure what's the problem , 20% left of ram free should be enough :s

You need at least 3.5 GB RAM Free on windows + 1GB (or more) on video memory (Vcard) for use like 60 MODs.
I guess you read the first page. In the part of potential problems, maybe you find the solution. Also, it is known that Texmod works best with Nvidia hardware.

Well, y'a i've read your minimum requirement that's why i'm kinda surprised :3
I've 6go of ram, before I launch Mass Effect 3, aournd 2go are used by windows & other programs & before texmod/ME3 crash, the usage (me3+system+other programs) is around 80% or the memory, i don't even see the title screen, it crash when it's the black screen loading.
For video card i'm using, as i said hd6990*2, 2go by card, so unless other people reported crash with those cards, i've more than the minimum requirement :3
Or maybe because i'm using windows 8.1 (x64)?
Only solution i found so far is put a few mods only & even with that i got crash while playing :3
Make me sad because I like what i saw from your mods so far :s
i'm really frustrated, me3explore mod not finished, your texmod mod crashing, it's like someone don't want me to play ME3 in HS T.T

If the game crash while playing, maybe you are using some NOT optimized MOD. try only using those with "OPTIMIZED 2" in the filename.
If the game crash when is loading textures, disable Origin overlay.

I am trying to run texmod and followed the instructions on the first page and texmod keeps on opening when I click on run for the mods.
that is becouse the names of the exe files inside win32 game folder need to be restored to the original names (texmod.exe and MassEffect3.exe) ... that is the job of the bat file...
are you using the bat file?

Done all this, but still crashing :/
I just give up, I spend 2 days trying to make is work & I just can't. I'm sad because your work is great, because I wanted to play Citadel DLC with HD mod. I'll have to stick with my ME3explorer Mod & hope that someday, someone will make Citadel DLC for me3explorer.
Or maybe oneday someone will be able to make a full install with .exe file like for ME1 HD mod?
Anyway, thanks for your time & your answers, I appriciate you took some time to answer & help me :x

System Specs:
i7 2600k
16g of ram
3g gtx 580
240g ssd
I tried narrowing the search to find the texture mod that may be the problem and I think the issue is the number of tex mods because I narrowed it down to two texmods that the game would load without (I was loading 10 at a time to try and find the culprit) and then I loaded all of them without those few (like a total of 40) and it still didn't work

So guys another noob question, perdon ahead of time. I have 16g of ram and 3 g of video ram as stated earlier but I wasn't able to load anywhere near 63ish texmods before the game crashes on startup(during the mod loading process) So I went ahead and monitored my ram usage and I was only getting up to 6.4g of ram usuage before the game would crash(that's TOTAL including all other programs and windows). I was curious if anyone had any insight as to why? Also I ended up monitoring it again and noticed that my physicial memory page(the one on my SSD) would hit 0 on the "free" section and shortly after the crash would happen. So I found out how to up the physical memory and now I'm going to try to see if I can load more mods. If anyone else has any other ideas I'd appreciate it because I really hate that I can't load more that 40ish right now...
I think Texmod have a limit of 3.5 GBs of Memory usage.. that is like 63 MODs using "Master file C" for enviroments. If you will going to use ME3Explorer (.MOD files) be warned of the following:
- You need to make Backup of the entire game folder, becouse if some .MOD file fail in the installation, the entire game is damaged (that texture failed installation will make your game crash), and you will need to start the .MODs files installation again from the begining.
- Some .MOD files take a looot of time installation, so be patient
- If you use some .MOD files for some textures, Texmod will never work over that textures again.
- In my case, the other day I buy a new DLC weaponds pack, and now I have no access to the Multiplayer, maybe becouse my DLC folder is edited with ME3Explorer.
Remember disable Origin Overlay for the game if the game crash on loading time (previous to the wellcome screen) and only use "OPTIMIZED 2" MODs if the game crash "only during gameplay".
Good luck.

Not sure if it's my specs, I think maybe my memory:
i7 4770k CPU
8gb DDR3 Memory
Crossfire Matrix Platinum HD 7970s
1000w PSU
Temperatures are well within safe ranges and I'm not overclocking

Getting some errors when loading Master Zona C texmod. Loading any part of the Galaxy map takes ages and it causes very noticeable lag all over. Less often (and mostly when alt+tabbing) weird textures just flash in front of my screen and I either am unable to see anything or very little. I'm running about 14 other mods which mostly include character texture mods, no other major pack like any for the DLCs and taking the Zona C mod out makes it all work fine.

- About the delay in loading textures, is strange.. maybe is some problem of Texmod with AMD cards (maybe is a Crossfire issue).
- About the textures flash or permanent on the entire screen, that happens when you make Alt+Tab.. to fix that.. make alt + tab some times and the problem will be solved.
Your memory is fine, most be AMD Cards problem with Texmod, not sure...

It sucks going through them 1-by-1 to see which ones are bad. It would be helpful if there was some sort of log that said "loading A - done. Loading B - done. etc, etc........Loading M - failed"

thanks for the speedy replies smarteck, can you use .mod in conjunction with texmod? Like replace a lot of the base textures for armors and such and then use your awesome zona c and dlc text packs?
Sure, I use .MOD files for some main characters and master file C and weaponds on Texmod.

I'm in love with your N7 Ajax mod, but I'm wondering if you could replace the orange lights with red? As nice as it is now, red lights would make it perfect for me.
Also, are you planning to make any more red/black N7 textures for weapons or squadmates?

First, I really love your work, Smarteck. As someone who spent years playing Mass Effect on the Xbox, playing with your new textures has made ME3 a whole new game.

Thanks for the support. With regard to changing the color of the lights, that's almost impossible, because that information is not controlled in the textures (in general). I am not currently editing more textures for ME3 but when I play something new, I try to improve some things, I'm now editing some textures for "Remember Me".
I stored all the work in my "Skydrive" space, check in case you find something useful:
