Thank you... since Bioware has blocked the access to the old post, this is the only place where we can keep in touch and by the way, I did not like the limits of this new format. The post lost many of his images here. ¬ _¬

Well... about ME4 I keep looking at the subject of future textures. So far I've only played two games with the new Frostbite Engine: Battlefield 4 and NFS Rivals. In both I have seen very bad textures.

I think we can make a better idea of what Bioware will do in terms of quality of textures for ME4 in the next Dragon Age. Will see...

Saludos =)

I recently discovered something that maybe, for many it is nothing new ... I mean the "ENB bloom effect" that can generate excellent dynamic lighting effect in some DirectX9 games.

Some examples of my results:

Full gallery here: http://imgur.com/a/2zz9R

If someone does not use this  yet and wants to experience, I recommend it ... especially in games that are dark. I, with results in Batman Arkham City was very surprised O_O ... lights and what affect these look just great while playing.

Download on my OneDrive space:

Dynamic Illumination MOD

Also I upload an HD texture pack for Remember Me... include textures for both Nilin appearances, new Skin and Hair plus a Film Grain remover for a more smooth and clean image. Maybe Ottemis Suit is better but this is an alternative.  :P

Saludos =)

Choice is always good! =) I reckon we're much the same, can't play a game without having to fix things... still working on my main outfit for Nilin, keep getting sidetracked by other things lol.

Good to know.   :D

This ENB Bloom effect really impressed me, is not like SweetFX Bloom. The lights look great in the games, like in a cinematic O_O ... I guess we never stop discovering things.

Have you tried the Dynamic Illumination mod in ME1? Methinks I'm gonna try it... hopefully I have enough duct tape for when my computer blows up. ;-)

@smarteck is there any chance you might upload everything also on Google Drive? OneDrive (former SkyDrive) is unbearably slow and unstable.. I couldn't finish the whole ME3 folder from there since it failed the download after 30+ hours at a 50kb/sec pace.

I really appreciate your work and the work of the other contributors, and would really love to be able to use them.

Thanks in advance!

What files do you need? maybe you can try downloading the different folders inside ME3.. on more small downloads I mean, not in a single big download.

I was downloading everything as a single download, tried splitting down, and no luck.. in the end I did a mix of seeking through all the mediafire download links and a couple of folders off OneDrive, but it took me a few hours of full dedication to it.

While I appreciate the option to have them all in one place, I, as well as others I might suppose, wouldn't mind having a mirror of it on Google Drive :)

Thank you,

Heads up, with me3explorer, after a tree scan you cannot install MEHEM. At least I can't. Biogame folder goes from 18.8 to 29.3 gigs in size. Check out the thread for KFreon's change details.

Does anyone know where I can find DeadMeat's TPF for the Graal Spike Thrower? I see a picture on his post but not a link. Edit: NVM, I found a version on Smarteck's skydrive.

Thanks again everyone who contributed to the massive archive of REAL high-res textures. It looks simply incredible on my 2560x1600 IPS monitor with enb.

I'm confused for the Zonas C masterfile. When you download it from Skydrive it says to download all 3 to the same area but only unpack part 1. how does that even work

I split the big file, so for extract the big file you only need open the first rar file.

Hey, nice to see you still around Smarteck!

Been a long time since I've posted and used mods. Thanks for maintaining the OP!

:D ... and I will keep sharing MODs for other games on my OneDrive space.... also, very soon SweetFX will be updated... Im using a beta code for a new cinematic filter, like the ENB Cinema MODv1 or like the Batman Arkham Knight Screenshots but for DirectX11 games (ENB only works on some DX9 games).

Is like a Chromatic separation or something like that:

DJPyCSJ.jpg

GQbbyyC.jpg

wOI9E5u.jpg

I do not know if the new filter is visible for all, that depend of the monitor, but what this does is separating a little  the red-green-blue channels to create a filter that commonly we see in movies or on TV, also adding a blur on distant objects (dynamic, between farther the object, more diffuse will be)

I only have the beta code.. so Im waiteting the final version too, but I really like that Chromatic filter.

I think will be SweetFX v1.6 and very soon I hope  ;)

Hi, Smarteck, first of all I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work.  It has really made my game much more beautiful and fun.

Anyway I ran into a weird thing with the Sentry Interface N7.  See below.  It only seems to happen when the camera gets close, it happens when you are controlling the camera or when the game does.  At first I though it was the mips from the textures so I extracted both the display from the visor, and the normal map, and tried to regenerate the mips but that didn't work.  Do you have any idea what this could be?

I doubt my computer can handle it. Maybe a few mods, but that's about it. I haz stability problems with ME1 texture mod too.

That is new for me O_o  ....no idea why that happend... maybe some error when Texmod send that texture to the Video memory before the game start...

Try placing that TPF file at the beginning of Texmod list,  that corrected the problem of some missing textures (which they looked completely black).

Good luck   ;)

You should try with ME3... I also had problems with ME1 MODs, perhaps because it was a big single TPF file or maybe because that game is some old.

For ME3 MODs you just need a video card with 1GB+ dedicated memory and 4 or 6GB+ on PC RAM and will work.  :D

@Bomma72: The sentry visor, you permanently replaced it yes? I've only seen that happen when I tried to replace and upscale that part of the Kuwashii visor in the past, on the ME3Explorer forums it falls under the same category as the recent posts about the aquarium plants, aka you can replace the texture permanently, but only at original texture size. When you go above it'll display like in your pictures and return to normal once you zoom out far enough to hit the Mips that have the original texture sizes and below. To get rid of the issue you're having right now, you'll have to vanilla the affected PCC's (the ones holding that particular texture).

So effectively you have the following options after you vanilla affected PCC's:

- Avoid permanent application for that particular texture entirely (and run texmod for it or leave it as is). You could remove that texture from the list when you loaded the TPF into TPF/DDS Tools and apply the others (if any exist).

- Permanently replace that particular texture in it's original texture size.

Also, on the BSN it's best to always note how you applied the tpf in the future, be it Texmod or ME3Explorer.

OK, I did tpf first, and then ME3Exploer after that to fix it.  I also thought it had to do with the Mips.

Now check this out,

This is the same mod I used posted by Fredy A.G., the very same scene as my screen shots, and no problems.  So unless the textures have been updated since the video was made there must be a way to make it work right?  Very strange.

By the way I have vanilla-ed the PCC and tried over again and got the same issue.  Here is a thought do all these problem textures have different ratio's than your standard squared ones?
