I'm back. :)

 

I'm updating my work again. I took a long time off this game doing other things and picked it up again recently. Started going through the game with some of my old mods and thinking to myself, "I can do this better now." and started working on doing just that. Seems ME3Explorer has come along way since I last looked at it.

I delete all the links to other posts on main page becouse Bioware broke all of them with the new forum format, and also they limited a lot the amount of content. If you update your post with all your Mods, please give me the new link to add that to main page.

Well I'm making updates to some of the mods very slowly. I'm putting some things I've learned to good use. I'd done some things already and hadn't shared them so they'll be incoming soon. My first order of business is the N7 Defender armor of course. Making a couple minor changes to that one. Also the M76 Revenant's done and pretty sweet.

 

So I'll do the updates and then give you the links for those. :)

Well I think I'm going to just make a new post with all the mods, updated screenshots etc. in it rather than redoing the one I had. Mainly because I'm only going to throw the updated ones in it. One thing I'm doing is building these so that they work not only with Texmod but with ME3Explorer. Now that the software works well enough to make texture replacements easy.

Hi !

First, me and my eyes would like to thank you & Ottemis SO much for all those textures.

Here's my question about your illumination mod (after some search in the .ini files) : Is it possible to customise the location and the filetype of the screenshots ? The location is not too important, but I'm quite an addict to screenshots and the .bmp format is really heavy :). Something like png or even jpg would be better for my use... But I really don't know how to tweak that.

I could create my own thread I suppose. It would be cleaner. I've been working on an update to the Defender armor. The helmet has been updated as well. Initially it contained a modified version of Smartek's default N7 helmet. Well as time has gone on I've modified it more extensively while still keeping it looking like it matches that set well. I finally got the color right I believe. At least it looks right to me. It was always a bit green before. I think I'll finally be happy with that. Also doing an update to the Death Mask that's come out really well I think. Just tweaking the N7 logo on that one now and testing. I've got an updated Revenant done which I'll have ready shortly.

 

I also made a slight improvement to James Vega's Collector's Edition armor that I'm pleased with. I also added that change to the N7 Desert Defender armor replacement for the stock texture. I also made new normal maps for some of the other mods I had. I had some really odd ball issues with the normal map for the M-11 Wraith shotgun. That issue only showed up when using ME3Explorer and integrating the texture into the game. It didn't occur through Texmod. (WTF???) So I fixed that. There are plenty of other updates I want to do like the Cerberus Harrier and what not that I'll get to I'm sure.

 

Primarily, I'll stick to the armors I've done which don't get allot of attention from others. Things like the Defender and Collector armors. I may make an update to my Terminus Armor which makes it look more like the Terminus Style armor Garrus has from the DLC. It bothers me to use my Terminus armor with that Garrus version as they don't look right together. I may update Ashley and Liara's armors but I haven't decided. I myself am using Ottemis's versions right now. They are cleaner than mine for sure. Artistically, I like a couple things about mine better (such as the carbon fiber accents making them look more like FemShep's armor) and I'm debating making those changes on his and offering that as an option for people that liked the slight artistic license I took with mine. But for the most part I'll stick with the game weapons. I've got a new version of the Valkyrie to work on as well. It's almost an entirely new texture which is saying something as the last one replaced most everything anyway. I'm not sure I released the redone N7 Typhoon. I think it was a project I had completed prior to leaving the game and modding scene awhile back. I can't recall if I released that version or not.

 

I hope to get some uploads done sometime today for anyone who wants to use them for some weekend gaming. ::)

And yeah your stuff would be much easier to find with your own thread =) You've done plenty mods to showcase.

Jpg can be a lot better, but I do not have lnfo about how change that, sorry...

Another "stupid" question so ^^.

Since I've modded the game, and even if I don't use texmod anymore, I have all the terminals in the game which show the same commands.. Which are those of the masseffect3.bat .. Do you have any idea where we can configure that, to undo it or put something else :) ?

PS : I know that's a small detail, but I'm quite obsessed with details ^^".

Okay so i have the fxaa and the cinematic filter ( i believe) working but whenever i try to use texmod, i have the batch working and changes then changes back, but then i hit run after loading the mods into the order and then ME3 opens up but texmod does nothing....

That Ottemis ask... And
Are you using windows 8?
Nvidia vcard?
Did you try disabling your antivirus?
Did you see the example video on first page?

Smarteck, Can i ask what your in-game brightness was set to to achieve the screenshot image on your Next-Gen Cinematic Filter?
