Nice texture mods, you're improving at every one you make. Any chance you some high-rez enviroments for ME1 and 2? The Normandy(s) at least would be sweet.
I donated to Smarteck to make high resolution environments for Mass Effect 3. (So far my donation level is well over $60 USD). I think we need to pitch in more to get him to make high resolution environments for a game that isn't even popular anymore...

Too bad the Origin overlay won't work with the FXAA plugin. Seems like joining/inviting friends in multiplayer is impossible without it.
Just disable the Origin overlay, start up the game, set the game to Windowed Mode (No Border), and then alt tab and keep Origin open, from there you can invite people to your games.

I'd be very careful with this terminology. It could result in smarteck getting a "cease and desist" notification from EA since he is essentially turning a profit from a game that he has no copyright on.neilthecellist wrote...
Um, open FXAA_Tool.exe and play with the settings to your liking, then just start the game up with Texmod... What's so hard about this? It isn't calculus...Alienmorph wrote...

EDIT: Fixed.

I hope the forum administrators do not mind, do not see anything wrong. Edit these textures is hard work and I'm also helping to improve the game for everyone, and free.
I have read the rules of the site and I see nothing that prohibits. I hope there are no problems

Will you be doing a mod for Liara's combat armor? You did an awsome job on her casual clothing.
If nobody else does before, of course .. worst first we must finish all costumes and armor by default.

BioWare and mod sites like the Nexus do have rules against using any content they own "for profit." It's essentially because BioWare retains all rights to any moneys made from the materials they own, including modified content, which I can understand. Still, many of us put in a lot of hours trying to improve their games with content that is free for all to download.
Modifications that consist of entirely new content made from scratch don't fall under these rules, I believe. Well, at least as far as donations. Although you must still only discuss matters about money on external websites.
It sucks, but they can do whatever they want on their own website

Can an hd6850 handle this?
I'm not the best person to talk about 'techy' stuff, but if this little info helps you then, great. =)
I have a 6850 (although mine is not a 'regular one'. Mine is an XFX 'black edition').
I am able to run these, plus the fxaa tool, and fraps all well, with not that many hiccups.
I was able to do this with mass effect 2 as well with Jean Luc's mods (along with the ssao thing...I think that's what its called....).
Go for it =)

Agreed.
It depends on your amount of video memory for the high-res textures. You probably want about 1GB, although lower amounts should be able to handle it, but you may notice some stuttering when the game is loading new textures, like when moving around in a large area.
FXAA Tool shouldn't hit your performance much at all. It's an awesome program, in my opinion.
SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion) will hit your performance and heat up your graphics card. How much it affects performance depends on your setup. I'm an nVidia guy, so I really don't know how ATI cards stack up.
Hope that helps too

Try my workaround. TexMod doesn't work as easily for ME3 as it did for ME2.
