Does anybody have a working link for these?

Maybe I have the backups on my OneDrive, but the file names say "v2.0":

About Next-Gen Cinematic Filter.
PC3g0tQ.jpg

If for some problem the image is extremely dark, to fix go to Nvidia control panel and set Antialiasing "Application-controlled".

Saludos.  ;)

Hi! Thanks for all the work you've done, it's really appreciated :-) I was wondering whether you've tried using the Next-Gen Cinematic Filter for Mass Effect 1. I tried your settings yesterday but I noticed no difference at all except a change in my framerate when i activated/deactivated it.

Strange... try the original one created for ME1: http://forum.bioware...4#entry16291652

And... is all about share.  ;)

Good luck!

This question is orthogonal to topic. I've installed the cinema and 3d mods and it all works fine. Where I go awry is ME1. I've got an Nvidia card and latest driver and 3d is setup for 3d Vision (polarized glasses) and while Me2 and 3 work as expected, Me1 insists on running in anaglyph mode (red/green). Anyone know how to correct this?

To fix that on ME2  I did this:

1. On Nvidia control Panel go to 3D Vision config

2. Start 3D Test Application (that with the old Nvidia logo)

3. Make Alt+Tab

4. Start ME1

5. Close Nvidia 3D Vision test application.

Good luck!  B)

Thanks smartek, I'll give it a shot (and keep it in mind if I run into the issue with ME2 as well).

Smarteсk, could you please answer some questions? Mostly about illumitation MOD.
Which one should I pick? Under the link on a first page (First post) there is several archives to download. ME 3 one, default one and I can find few more archives in Mass Effect 3 HD folder on onedrive. Which of them is used to get chromatic effect? And when I will clearly see it? I've just started gameplay and didn't move - almost no difference is visible at all. And remembering how much trouble I got in Skyrim to get ENB running I doubt I did everything right.
I can see that .dll is working - playing with enbseries.ini does change visuals. I just don't see that marvelous look. Your pictures are awesome, but look completly different from my ingame visuals. Could downsampling fail the thing? Anisatropic filtering? I'm just out of options of what to do next.

Could you plese give step-by-step instruction? =D

And about textures - is this only way to use them? Can't I just somehow permanently implant them in a game and get better loading time?
And if I can how will it affect performance? Can I expect lower startup time? Or it is texture trouble and not the way you apply them to the game?

http://i61.fastpic.r...6b26957114a.jpg - picture of gameplay. Can you tell that filter is working using it?

Download "ME3 Cinematic Filter.rar".

To see in-game difference, press Shift+F12 (Enable/Disable). Im using downsampling too and Im not forcing any AntiAliasing, but I try with SGSSAA and the MOD still working with ME3...

Try with "Shift+F12" and if need you can increase the effects on the ini and txt files...

There is other option, Cinematic filter for DX11 games: http://1drv.ms/1mPnWhT

VPlzurN.jpg

TrWxtfU.jpg

kPz8fJF.jpg

This is a modified SweetFX version with a Chromatic shader and Gaussian blur shader. Compared with the ENB DX9 Version (on main page for ME3) SweetFX does not have the same bloom effect on lights... but maybe can loocks much better.. I do not test this on ME3 yet :P

The instructions steap by stea are in both MODs rar files (for DX9 and DX11 games).

Remember to remove all the files in your game folder of the First MOD before use the DX11 Cinematic MOD.

And about replace the textures permamently, it is posible with "ME3 Explorer" software. Be advise to make a FULL backup of your game folder first. If something goes wrong your game files will be broke :P

Im not using ME3 Explorer because I was not a good experience using it... But other users love it. If you have free time give it a chance, maybe your experience is better than mine. I am satisfied using Texmod, is the most easy way to use the texture MODs and... I'm a patient man.   :D

Note: Texmod will stop working on the textures that you change using "ME3Explorer" until you restore the original files of your game.

Good luck! :)

EDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTT !!!!!!!!!  :P

I try the DX9 MOD with LA Noire with Downsampling and did not work.. I go back to normal resolution and works... try at your normal resolution without downsampling.

EDIT 2:

Was not the downsampling.. I just make any resolution change in the game menu and the MOD start to work....  Alt+Tab works to enable the MOD too.

Thanks, will try some Dx11 version and texture instaling. You're realy helpful, man!

UPD: I tried to turn it ON/OFF as you suggested. And as I told - only part that I'm missint is chromatic effect. I got  bloom, I got a little brightness change but NO COLOUR difference at all. When I'm looking on the surface/object that isn't in range of light sources to bloom it, it doesn't change at all. So I got partialy not working ENB =D

UPD 2: Strange, when I do scaning is always stops on 2570 in ME3 Explorer. Didn't find anywhere why should it do that. Vanila ME 3 instalation.

ME3Explorer give me problems in the past too, for that reason I only use Texmod...

@Romual: If you're having problems with ME3Explorer, head over to me3explorer.freeforums.org to sort it out.

It's come a long way and works pretty well these days.

Is there a reason why the high res textures sometimes leak onto the screen forcing me to restart the game if they don't disappear? I kind feel like Texmod causes this sometimes since the mod is only temporarily replacing, and isn't overwriting the file instead.

Maybe that happend if we use Alt+Tab during the game for some reason....

I just recently started playing the game on Window(no borders) mode recently, and I have noticed that this started to occur ever since I changed my screen settings to that setting. When I played full screen or window mode(with borders), it never did that.

mmm ok.. I remove from main page the recommendation to play in borderless mode for can use the PC on loading time.

But if you see that problem again, make Alt+Tab some times and the textures will be gone from the screen. =)

Best thing i found to increase loading times was to switch to borderless just before game exit and then switch back to normal once the game loaded the next time you play. Just repeat each time and loading is not an issue and neither is ALT Tabbing if you need to.

Thanks, I never did that, because I always panic when it happens. It doesn't break the game, but I just can't see where I'm going at times.

Can someone help me with, i assume it calls "jagged lines"? I tried everything possible in ME3 to improve quality, but vertical jagged lines still there, especially while moving. I am using cinematic mod from here, but also tried every other possible mod, nothing changed. In ME2 forced AA in nvidia panel worked perfectly, but in ME3 it doesn't work at all. I tried via nvidiaInspector, also doesn't helped. Btw Nvidia AA conflicting with Cinematic mod - it causes black screen, so I tried it separately from each other - no effect. Tried to change SMAA setting in SweetFX_settings.txt - also no changes. I am playing in 1680x1050(maximum for my monitor). Tried downsampling from 1920x1200(maximum my 670gtx allowed me to set up for my 16x10 ratio), also nothing changed.

Did you try with SGSSAA?

Note: Apply only on ME3 profile, not on the general profile.

THANK YOU!!! It finally worked  :) But with AA compatibility 0x080000C1. Now game looks amazing. One more question about cinematic filter: when it is enabled subtitles is too... blurred i think. It's pretty hard to read them, especially on light background. What setting is responsible for that effect?

P.S. To disable SMAA from SweetFx all I need is to change #define USE_SMAA_ANTIALIASING 1 to "0" in SweetFX_settings.txt? Cause I did it and there is no difference. With Shift+F12 cinematic filter enabled now I see a noticeable frame drop, not critical, but before SGSSAA was better. When cinematic filter is turned off, frame rate with SGSSAA is perfect, 60 fps everywhere, with turned on - drops to 40-50. I suppose Sweet FX continue to force SMAA. That is sad, picture with cinematic filter is great, despite blurred text, but 60fps>>>cinematic filter with constant drops to 40.

open effect.txt file and try this:
float BlurSamplingRange=0.0

also you can increase sharpen with this line:
float SharpeningAmount=5.0;//3.0;

Yes.

All the injectors eat some FPS.. the amount is increased with High resolutions. I lost like 20 in some games at 4K :P

Saludos ;)
