Smart I downloaded and installed the texture pack for zonaC and this is what I get on some of the textures. I was able to fix some of them with Ottes textures but enemy areas seem to stay the same. Any ideas how I can fix it? And they were permanently installed with ME3.

Untitled_zps16c895a0.png

Apparently something went wrong during the installation of that textures... like if some code had been shifted, that looks like a carpet texture.  xD

Well, Ottemis said it all. I do not use ME3Explorer, therefore I could not help you too much with this problem. I never see this problem using Texmod...
In my past experience with Explorer, in your case I would have to re-download the entire game once again.

Maybe you can find more help on the official forum of ME3Explorer, maybe you can reverse the failed installation of that textures:

Also, I add extra info to this line on main page problems area:

> Only one MOD is visible in-game? This Texmod method may not be compatible with other ways to introduce new textures in to the game (other texture MOD software). If you will to use ME3 Explorer tool be careful, some things could go wrong. The first thing will  be make a full back up of your game folder.

Good Luck! ;)

It's possible they shifted some id's around when they format fixed your original tpf, probably a good question for the conversion thread.

The hex id's are such a universal system that its unlikely it went wrong on a different level. Well, unless the setup/treescan is faulty somehow but I doubt that honestly.

Hi, I've just downloaded the cinematic DX9 Mod but I can't get it to work with my game. I've installed it as described in the readme (I'm not new to ENB), run it as admin and i've disabled Origin Overlay ingame but I still get an error message when I want to launch ME3. The error box says:

(translated from german, sorry for mistakes) Procedure entry point "Direct3DCreate9Ex" couldn't be located in DLL "d3d9.dll"

I've already tested disabling downsampling, restoring driver profile, setting all ingame settings to default and applying 4gb patch to the exe but without success :/ I haven't installed any other mods yet.

Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

I guess this is happening because of the new NVIDIA Driver: 344.11.

How can I remove/change the input from the ENB? Like showing FPS counter, etc.

Delete the [INPUT] part from 'enbseries' and the keys from 'injector', doesn't work.

I'm using the ME3 Cinematic Filter v1 (No Lens Flares)

EDIT

I made it work by changing the ones I don't want, to another key, Insert (45), found using this:

Hey, Smarteck, is there a comparison between your MP mod texture and the original? I just can't see a difference... specifically for the N7 Shadow. :-/

Ah, thanks. It seems if you put the N7 Shadow in dark colors, you can't really tell the difference... well, at least for me.

Hola, I may have found a bug about multiplayer mods, possibly. I loaded all those mods today, and the game crashed no matter I entered my own room or another room. I tried to narrow down the one that caused the problem, but no luck yet. I'll keep trying.

Ah why can't I edit my post on the new forum?

Anyway, it just occured to me that I'm using 32-bit Win 7 SP1. Either I need to set LAA, or install 64-bit and test it again. In Win's task manager, the ram is around 2.2 GB. Maybe that's the problem?

BTW, my physical RAM is 4GB and my GPU is 750 Ti + 2GB VRAM.

1. Remember to disable Origin In the game overlay

2. Try only with optimized files from here: http://1drv.ms/1fqRyox some not optimized MODs make the game crash (with textures in JPG, BMP, etc inside the TPF file).

3. Maybe the problem is the 32 bit OS.

4. At least here (64 bit OS) by default the game support LAA.. so no need to apply to the game exe

And for MP enviroment, you can use Master file C from SP.

Good luck. ;)

Gracias. I will try to install 64-bit Win 7 first.

I also used GPU-Z. With Texmod, it only took less than 500MB VRAM. It was strange to see that. because I thought Texmod would load those textures to VRAM instead.

Ah, I just hope next year we won't have to use Texmod with ME4.

I just had this exact problem.  One of the normal maps got screwed up somehow.  Reinstalling the game and reapplying the textures fixed it.

I have already reinstall the game several times, and reinstalled all the mods at least 10 times, and it always makes me the same thing :/ I also save the CookedPCConsole folder before installing and after installation I replace it with the old, but all the textures of normandy were black

Holy carp. I've always loved your high rez Miranda skin, smarteck. Having it in 2?

Little update on my texmod problem. I was getting a little bored with ME and decided to give it another go to see if it would work with Origin. Nada. Any attempt outside package mode still crashed it. Then, I tried starting it with the .bat file and... worked perfectly.  :o  :D

Sidenote; if you have AVG, make sure you turn it off first because it will automatically delete texmod from the folder. Found that out the hard way.

Also, made my own batch file for ME2. So this is for those of us with Origin. Also, also make sure Origin is disabled in game. Just copy, paste into a text file (wordpad is fine) and rename it ME2.bat

@ECHO OFF
ECHO Run Mass Effect 2 with Texmod?
SET /P X=(Y)es or (N)o?
IF /I "%X%"=="Y" goto :Yes
IF /I "%X%"=="N" goto :No
GOTO END

:Yes
ren "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\ME2Game.exe" "ME2Game_tmp.exe"
ren "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\Texmod.exe" "ME2Game.exe"

ECHO Files renamed! Please start now your Mass Effect 2 in Origin.
PAUSE

ren "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\ME2Game.exe" "Texmod.exe"
ren "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\ME2Game_tmp.exe" "ME2Game.exe"

ECHO Filenames restored! Now you can start Mass Effect 2 with use of TexMod.
PAUSE

GOTO END

:No
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\ME2Game.exe"
:END
