Antarius has compiled your tpf's and fixed all textures to current formats for .mod installation

which is quite a lot of work considering the amount of textures  ;)

I'm having an error with Texmod I've never had before. I haven't played the game in a few months, so I decided to play again this week and got Texmod set up but, after I've renamed the Texmod and MassEffect3 .exe files, open Texmod, and renamed them again, when I hit Target Application, nothing happens. I get the swirly little circle like the computer is doing something, then the program freezes and has to be closed down. I've never had this problem before and I'm not sure how to fix it. my mods are the same as they always were, I have the updated versions of everything.

That is strange.. what OS are you using, antivirus?

 

- Try disable antivirus

- try with a bat file (instructions on first page)

On another forum, I found that you have to disable Origin "In-Game" setting. It's under the main menu: Origin -> Application Setting -> In-Game [tab]. Turn it off.  Then use the bat file method mentioned on the first page. This solved the program freezing problem. The problem I have now, is that the game won't find the registered DLC. It seems to be mod related. I think some mods like the Citadel HR pack need the "Collector" edition or something but can't find it or it has been renamed. Frustrating.

 

I have the Origin Digital Deluxe edition. And yes, I disabled the AV.

I'd really stop advising people to use the launcher, that thing is a year behind the current patch method, severely outdated.

  :lol: ... some months ago that launcher worked for me. Now I do not have that problem anymore.. is just fixed.. I did nothing xD

Today I do not know if still working or not and if that problem still happens to someone.

They've neither asked for permission nor creditted anyone, only stating it's "a collection of many different ME 3 texture mods from various places". Recognized yours from the filenames, same with mine (I put my name in mine).

I've reported them.

I don't know whether this is something you would have minded, but with others also affected (2/3 at least excluding myself) it seemed like the best course of action. Plus, this sh*te pisses me off.

Apparently the file was already deleted ... personally Im agree that other users share the files BUT IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ME also added some link to the original post... not for my name to be famous, rather it is for that every person who has access to the files, can have all the information needed to give the correct use.
 
I do not reach to view the publication, but apparently he made you very angry. :P

Texmod crashes after 15 mins, even when using just one mod. So I went to ME3Explorer to make them permanent and keep hanging on 'Checking TOC.bin'

Any advice on what may cause this as I spent a good 4 hours yesterday trying to understand this by searching around with little to no solutions. Thanks.

Did you disable origin in the game overlay?
Are you using Texmod on XP compatibility + administrator mode?

Yes, Yes and Yes. I have Origin version, disc version, hell I even tried a no fully agreeable version. I modded ME & ME2 in moments. ME2 even uses Texmod which is why I tried for a more permanent version. Texmod crashes and ME3Explorer hangs on Toc.bin.
Trying again one more time as I am officially confused why this does not work. Even modded Skyrim fine with full HD textures + ENB no problems.
ME3 just does not like being touched for some reason.

So, Texmod works fine on ME2? If the answer is yes, play the game by default some 30 minutes and see if the game crash... Sometimes the file coaleaced.bin is corrupted...

Also maybe your Origin is just updated and always re-enable origin overlay without ask you.

I've downloaded 21 files DIRECTLY FROM HERE and tried installing them with me3explorer's TPFTools 2.0 (Autofix and install) and it worked, I guess, I checked in-game and Eve's clothes are HQ but the plants on the fish tank became colored squares. xd



The only that didn't work at all was the Doors Hologram one, it says NOT FOUND IN TREE and it's actually is not working with TexMod either.

The fishtank is a known issue, same as the sentry visor, don't apply those with the toolset yet. It's been reported on the toolset formus ages ago and is being looked into.

When ME3Explorer edit / try edit some textures, Texmod will never work again over those textures... the only way to make Texmod work again, is restoring the default files in game folder.

Hey can someone help me out? I've been downloading a bunch of textures and everything is going smoothly except for one problem. When I install Wadres' Reaper Deluxe Edition it replaces the texture in-game, but it is surrounded by what I can describe as a black cloud.

 

The best I can tell when the problem starts is when I use the TPF/DDS tool in the Explorer. When I first load the .tpf and analyse it, if I look in the preview window the texture looks fine. But when I click "autofix and install", the evil cloud surrounds the texture in the preview window as it gets formatted. Help?

Toolset help best asked over at the official me3explorer forums, but this sounds like the format conversion isn't gonna work for that particular texture.

It would help if you could identify the format of the texture causing the issue and what it 'should' be in TPF tools before autofix, that way the coders might be able to take a look at the issue (or plain tell you it needs to be converted by hand).
