Hi,

Sorry for my bad English .
But I have a question.
My Texmod can only start 30 mods . But I have 119 Mods . How can I start another ?

Could someone help me with replacing Aria's Base game mesh and textures with her Omega DLC ones? For some reason BW made the mesh and textures different between the base game and the DLC.

Question about sentry visor. I like what you have done with it but occasionally it gets fuzzy, is there a fix for this?

Hi guys, I used instructions and mods from this tutorial on youtube and everything works fine except that objects and landscapes in a distance is too much greyed out and blured. Can you tell me is there any fix for my problem?

EDIT:

 

I was able to fix this problem (had to disable ambient occulsion in nvidia inspector) but now I have minor problem with mp banners, me3explorer says that mod is successfully installed but mp banners are still unchanged??

First congratulations are in order, thank you very much for making possible to use ME3 in HR and 4K resolutions.

Really outstanding work.

Miranda armor is specially good and thank god for the asari and salarians generic outfits.

 

And the world materials!!! I was really happy the first time I've found them, the look and feel of the planets improved a lot.

I think yours are the only one that exists.

 

On the other hand, do you accept constructive criticism?

Especifically the alliance soldier's armors used on Earth.

 

Don't get me wrong, your design beats the default game by a long shot, but it looks too clean.

Yes, the original armor is blury, with razors edge all around and very low resolution decals.

Yours on the other hand, while is in HR and crispy resolution, doesn't appear is being used in a war against a galactic threat in a theater of war for several months.

It looks like the soldiers recieved the armors yesterday. LOL

 

I think that perhaps a more "dirty" look or not too much highres would help creating the atmosphere of despair the soldiers are living.

I bet that Anderson don't shower every day in London.

 

But it's your decision, if you think the armor should stay that way, then it will stay that way.

 

And sorry for my english, is not my primary language.

Thanks.. and Im agree with you.. when I start to doing this was like learn how to do it over the steps... some things can be better but the results was just good :P 

 

But sadly Im not working on new textures anymore... that journey ended for me, now Im just using what we have here, but thanks for your words.

Re-check the steps:

 

- Put the file Texmod.exe in your game folder Win32 (alongside the game's executable.).

- Edit this file with Notepad: https://www.mediafir...658s2bboj58c0hu

- Change the 5 times the path where you have installed your game, for example on my PC is:  
  D:\Origin\games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\MassEffect3.exe.
  Put your right installation path.

- Save the changes to the bat file (like .bat not .txt)

- Open Origin.

- Now run the file MassEffect3.bat.

- Press Y and then Enter key.

- Start the game FROM ORIGIN WINDOW, it will open Texmod (not use the shortcut of the game).

- Press a Space bar 2 times on the window of MassEffect3.bat (the window will close)

- Now you can use texmod, first select the game .exe file (MassEffect3.exe) pressing the big folder icon, then the mods you want to use (.tpf files) in the middle small folder icon and press Run.

Here's my fix for the 'Sentry Interface' visor, if anyone still needs it:

Not sure how long I can host it for, but, if someone could check it works for them maybe it could be put on here. Simply use TPF/DDS tools to overwrite the texture. Not sure about Texmod.

 

All I did was scale the image down from 1024 to the original size of 256 DXT1 with mips. Looks 'good' for me in my HD game and the animation still works. It's not HD, but increasing the image scale as the author did, causes camera closeup issues.

Looks like a texture problem.... Specular map perhaps  :huh:

Hello!

 

First of all, your texture work is amazing. It really breathes new life into the visuals of the game. :)

 

But it is a bit of a hassle to run your mods through Texmod every time, so I decided to install them using the TPF/DDS Tools that come with the ME3Explorer suite. Unfortunately, it seems the textures can not be applied this way, and I keep getting non-valid responses when I analyze the .tpf files (MIPS and FORMAT, it keeps telling me, unable to install).

 

I assume there is no way around this? Your textures are not designed to work with ME3Explorer's tools, as such?

 

Edit: Never mind. I found a mod compilation that has your textures. http://www.nexusmods...ect3/mods/363/?

What a great mod this is! Thanks for providing your work to the community.

I got to bother you (or anyone else who feels like helping) with a question, though: I'm using all your mods from the front page. The Citadel package causes the weirdest problem, though: I've just started a new game and entered the Citadel for the first time, but everything looks like the Cerberus attack had already taken place (i.e. there's bullet holes all over the place). Any idea how to fix that?

Sadly, there is no an easy way to do that... you need to lear how edit that textures, and test in game until you fix the problem =(
