Thats what I did but it won't start. Origin keeps telling me that I need to install ME3. :?

It sounds like you have a problem with ME3 itself and not Texmod.

Question:  Can you start ME3 normally without Texmod?  If you can't, then I suggest right clicking on the Origin ME3 box and select repair.

Regards,
DieVarieties

Yes, I can start ME3 normally.

I think you are doing it wrong. You only get the "Installation-message" when there is no masseffect3.exe present. You have to move texmod.exe to the same folder that contains the original masseffect3.exe. Origin does not check, if the ME3-exe unmodified or not.

Seriously, that's what I did. I don't know what I do wrong. I can do it again but I've already tried this a few times.

How much time do you spend playing the game now a days?
The updates are really frequent. And much appreciated.

For now, I have time because I'm sick at home. The truth is I spend more time editing textures (the time spent playing). I think just as fun, it's hard sometimes, but spend a good time.

Have you even made it past Tuchanka yet?

If you mean if I already pass Tuchanka (in game), not yet. Arrive at the academy and started to improve some things.

^_^... I have a high resolution texture to human skin, is what I use on my Shepard, according to me it looks more real.

Click the right mouse button to see full resolution and see the difference. (view in new tab)

Maybe it can be applied to the skin of other characters...

I see how it is and I will tell you later (today). But it will only be applicable to the face, head and neck, because now I have no access to the rest of the body.

Added:

22. High Resolution Skin for Default Male Shepard.

NOTE: Only applicable to the head and neck, because now I have no access to the rest of the body.
It is very probable that other human characters use the same facial texture during the game.

The only problem I have with any high resolution skin (Human models) is that you can definitely see where the hairline meets the face and it just looks very fake. Almost as if the face is a mask over another texture. I remember one done for Jack for ME2, and the entirety of the retexture was absolutely flawless, except the face/hairline issue.

But that I do not happen to my character. Now, in the case of default Shepard is something that looks like this with or without MOD.

You're probably seeing this seam because the face is a completely separate mesh than the hair/scalp. BioWare did the same thing for DA. So, if the face texture is enlarged and sharpened and the scalp isn't, there's going to be a visible seam because they're at different resolutions.

Is that not a seam to the right of his eyebrow, above the ear? Or am I mistaken?

jajajaaja .. yes, that line has always been there, but not continuous, it's like a scar, do not have the other side or the front.

Man, that is not so terrible.;)
