Hey guys I am trying to make some High res textures but dont know exactly how to do it. I followed the instructions and watched the Video on the first page and increased from 1024 to 4096 using "Corel PhotoImpact X3" and saved the package to tpf. Is that all or do I need to do something else to make it look better. I am doing this on the new Cerberus MP character.

Did you modify the texture at all? Simply resizing the original texture doesn't help at all.

Now I have almost ready 2 additional MODs, soon I will share in the Post (a character and a Structural Materials).

And thanks to all who are sharing their textures with all of us. :D

Love the work you have done man. :) I do have a small request though for the Citadel/Normandy textures.

Some of the floor tiles have this circular gradient which produces some odd patterns. The problem is most noticeable in the following screens.

Another culprit are the doors on the Normandy. While most of your textures are great, some are overworked and come out looking too rough or creating wierd repeating patterns that distract from the scene. If you could go back and rework some of these to be a bit smoother and closer to the original texture (like your recent revamp of the mantis), I would be extremely appreciative!

I appreciate your words, I like the look of the new floor, but I understand that not everyone has the same tastes, I think the floor of Purgatory, occurs because the game to create each ceramic, using a large texture and compressed to the small size, then it looks that way.
Anyway I will give a look to that file, but do not ask me to change the floor of the Hospital, that I liked very much. :D

well,

For those who do not like the floor of Purgatory Bar (included in the MOD of the citadel), here's a solution to disable that texture.

Download the file that blocks the new texture of MOD here: www.mediafire.com/

Just be sure that the file that disables the texture, is located above the file of the Citadel in the list of Texmod. Thus, the texture will be loaded by default the game, not the texture of the MOD.

And then they do not say that I am dictator, and I want you using the game just as I want (cough, cough .. BW).

I try for many ways to change the horrible music on the radio the captain's room and I could not do it. It is a very complex file. :pinched:

Does the flying car texture also affect the car that Garrus takes you on a ride to the top of the Presidium?

It should. That's the same car. The model is reversed inititally sitting near the docking bay when you fly up, and is a light gray color, but it shows Garrus and Shepard riding in the usual red car in the cut scenes.

jajajajaja

In addition to the contributions of all, I think I will continue adding structural materials, and once I finish the game, I begin with From Ashes and new armor, someone mentioned that Jarvik needed to be re-textured.

And there are several pending projects, The Atlas of Cerberus (Thiagobsbr), The Destroyer Reaper (wadres), Ashley casual outfit (Athlonix), among others.

We'll see.

Didn't someone already re-texture Lesuss?

Shepard's undergarments and skin could use a revamp. Thanks for the great work, everyone.

Yes, @wadres.

Once I had finished it, I remembered. :P.
But no problem, because what I did is very different. More options to choose from.:D

So it would be possible to run both of those mods and not have the textures overlap one another?

The video card will use only that it first in the list of Texmod.

Has anyone updated the game to version 1.3 yet? Has it affected any of the mods in any way?

Yeah that was me. It would be invaluable to have the entire squad in HD.

And also this suit since all we have is her ME2 armor:

Impeccable work so far, modders. I'm holding off playing SP again until all these mods are congealed like a fine pudding :D

Ya, unfortunately Vez, the recent update to Origin has affected the ability to open Texmod for some of us (me included :pinched:). Fortunately though, I managed to fix it by opening texmod and launching the game through Steam FIRST, then I close the game and the registery will think it's still being played on steam. You can then launch Texmod through Origin again. This isn't fullproof however, as it sometimes doesnt always work, but it's the only fix I've mangaed to find at this point.

Hope this helps. ;)

Hi guys, I've been looking for some texture mod on the leather jacket casual outfit, but I couldn't find any. I made my own mod following smarteck video tutorial; it's my very first mod so please don't be too harsh

If you like it, feel free to download it.

www.mediafire.com/

Here's a comparison between the original and the modded one, I tried to improve the leather textures of the jacket as well as the wool texture of the white sweater/t-shirt or whatever it is.

The differences are more noticeable with the image at its original size, so please compare them on the browser on different tabs, here on the forum they look almost identical.

You did a really great job with the jacket Sirius, I'll definitely be trying it out on my Shepard.
