Ya, unfortunately Vez, the recent update to Origin has affected the ability to open Texmod for some of us (me included :pinched:). Fortunately though, I managed to fix it by opening texmod and launching the game through Steam FIRST, then I close the game and the registery will think it's still being played on steam. You can then launch Texmod through Origin again. This isn't fullproof however, as it sometimes doesnt always work, but it's the only fix I've mangaed to find at this point.

I'll need like a guide for me to be able to that tbh, cba risking it.

Im just gonna wait for a future work-around or fix thats more simple to try before i use texmod in ME3 again.

Here's a comparison between the original and the modded one, I tried to improve the leather textures of the jacket as well as the wool texture of the white sweater/t-shirt or whatever it is.

The differences are more noticeable with the image at its original size, so please compare them on the browser on different tabs, here on the forum they look almost identical.

What do you think? :huh:

I think I've seen someone leave a catch in the post, a dark version, does it come with some DLC?

If I could make some suggestions on textures that could use some work.

Firstly the salarian NPCs suit of armor.

and Thirdly, the combat suit for the Turians, I assume editing this texture would also effect the C-sec Staff which appear on the citadel so that would be an added bonus.

I think scrapping the names on the forearms and putting just one on the chestplate would be better, but that's just my opinion.

Also bumping the request for hi-res Hackett's uniform and Alliance soldiers.

Regarding the name, that is one piece, the game doubles as mirror to the other arm. It's just a detail, rarely is seen in the foreground.
For the rest, imagine that one or more species of the galaxy, or a machine scan that part in backwards mode. :D
And leave it in the front area, would not be the same, I've done the tests, does not look good. But thanks for the suggestion. ;)

With respect the suit of Admiral, I have in mind ... I think it will be one of the next. Appears quite often in the game.

That is something the graphics engine generates ALWAYS. if you look without using the MOD also'll see, but to a lesser degree, not a mistake of mine, the problem is in the way the game riding the 2 textures to create head.

Without the MOD is less noticeable because the original texture is like diluted paint, then, is not noticed much of a texture over another.

When I create the texture of skin, remember to keep the same original tones, perhaps, slightly altering the tone of one of the textures can be reduced somewhat.

I will realize some tests and will tell what happens.


EDIT: It is possible to improve that part, but requires a lot work, you must modify skin tones by sector. For the moment I prefer to proceed with the remaining textures. If someone wants to improve these textures can send me a PM and give you the necessary files. But work that will not be easy.

Ashley's armor was created by Dead_Meat357 , communicate with him and asked about the possibility of a dark armor. It should be easier for him, since he must have saved the files as objects.

Sweet! Been meaning to test them out, hopefully this will work for me. Thanks for letting me know. ^_^


Also, I just wanted to add that I have a request for a texture "clean-up" the female hands aren't terrible but they are dirty, just wondering if anyone is planning or has cleaned the hands up a bit?


EDIT: Also, would it be possible for someone to take this high resolution texture (maybe smarteck?:P) and just change the yellow lines back to the original blue if that's possible? Or is there some difficulty in doing that. There a a couple of people that would much prefer the blue version!

Hey there folks!

Sorry, I'm behind schedule on the Atlas :(
I got called on an unscheduled urgent business trip and I was away from town last week :(

Got back home yesterday night and I'm working around the clock on the Atlas now.

It's arms are mostly done, damn thing have three separated textures for arms, legs and body :D

I expect it to be completed by the end of the weekend

Again, sorry for the set back :(

Can someone help me with texmod? Logging mode is not working for me, I can not select any textures in game.

I've been tinkering with the hi-res Shepface for the past two days, and sadly give up. These places just stretch the textures too much, and I don't have the patience right now. Putting up smarteck's source files if anyone else wants a crack at this.

NOTE: Maybe you will see a shadow glitch the first seconds the destroyer reaper appears in Rannoch, I tought it was my MOD and i tried everything and nothing worked but then I ran the game in "vanilla" mode and the glitch is still there so no problem is a developers issue.
