Amazing, I really hope everybody followed this whenever possible, for example the Rachni Soldier Reaper by wadres looks amazing; however if this 'trick' you do could be applied to others as well, maybe we could really dodge some bullets because 40mb for a single creature a bit excessive, I think.smarteck wrote...
No loss of quality. This time, we were lucky because the 2 main files do not require use of alpha channels, reducing the size of DDS files (in MBs) considerably. The main resolution is 2048x2048, most that I've used in weapons.
Also, for me, is the weapon that result in greater quality of which I edited, I loved it.

I really wish there was some pack with HQ textures available for download on Geth (enemies). Like the ones smarteck did for Cerberus, or individual ones like wadres, smarteck and others did.
Should I hope these work both ways?

They do not work for the enemies as far as i can tell, I'll pull the Geth enemies tonight and see if they share the same files but i don't believe they do. If not, I may have to do them since the characters turned out so well.

Some of the textures use green instead of orange. Both are used to create reflections on the mesh. Green seems to be used predominanetly in textures with a lot of white in them and orange in textures of any other color. Both of Liara's armor textures I've done used green instead of orange. Ashley's texture used orange. The only real difference between them was color. Both outfits are pretty much the same aside from their color.

Edit: Gah, I'm an idiot. Its funny how I can give the same advice over and over to clients, and yet when I start to have performance issues with my computer I don't take my own advice.
Ctrl+Alt+Del, look at the memory performance tab. Whats that? 3.59Gb's in use when your not even playing a game?

Yea, I managed to get it going the first time I tried, but now all it does it load up the process and eat memory, it doesn't actually load the gui. Seem's busted.

haha, no they don't on SP. Guiile_Shepard asked if the Geth enemies work in SP & MP. Then asked if the pack included the Geth Engineer and Geth Infiltrator.
