Hi everybody. I have a problem with these mods. I didn't want to read through all 93 pages so I'm sorry if somebody already answered this.
So, when I loaded all of the mods except the weapons and a few other unnecessary(for me) mods, there were 2 situations:
first, the game couldn't even get to the main menu,
second, when the game told me to press any button to enter the menu then all blackness and crash(this time I loaded less mods)
So I decided to load the really necessary mods for the first parts of the game: It went well till the normandy wanted to leave Earth then the game crashed.(it was with about 35-40 mods).
My config is
windows 7 32 bit
Intel Core 2 Quad 2500 MHz
geforce gtx460 1GB
8gb ram
and I run the game on 1920*1080
I know it is not the best but come on.
Your problem is actually pretty simple to explain. The issue is that you do not have enough memory to support all of the installed mods. You say you have 8gb of ram, but unfortunately you also say you have a 32 bit system. 32 bit only allows a maximum of 2 gb use of ram, even if you have more.
You have two options:
1. Upgrade your processor/motherboard to support 64 bit
or
2. Use less mods, and specifically only use the mods that are going to be noticable in that current playthrough.
Incorrect. 32bit systems can address up to 4GB of RAM. Windows will not allow any one program to use more than 2GB of physical RAM. 2GB is reserved for the system. The amount of RAM shown on some systems may be well less than 4GB, but that is due to I/O device mapping as memory addresses for hardware need to be below a certain address limit, also known as the 4GB boundary. The chipset on some systems can remap these addresses and translate for Windows and allow all 4GB of RAM for use, but most systems which allow for this are new enough to have 64bit Windows installed on them anyway.
And his processor and motherboard are fine for 64bit Windows. All Core 2 Quad's are EM64T compatible.
