For those who read the leaked script, what exactly changed from the leaked script to the final game?

I didn't notice many changes at all. However, I did read several mentions (outside of what I read in the script) about Edi asking about... scarily sexual things. When I actually played the game, it felt like her story was toned down to a more "teach me how to love" than "teach me how to sex."

Probably would have made more sense than the Catalyst.

I don't want this thread to turn into an ending-bashing thread. I didn't like it, either, but I'm not bashing it(yet).

Right now, I didn't read the leaked script, so I want to know what changed.

I never read a copy of the leaked script. I could go try to find one, I suppose, but I suspect that not a lot of significance changed - probably minor edits and the like.

Quite a bit of content got cut. Garrus' date scene for example was meant to end with Garrus and Shepard being chased off by C-Sec. There was also meant to be a Virmire 2.0 between Liara and the VS, which I would've greatly loved to be included.

The endings were also vastly different from their November script leak.

Well in the leaks, the mass relays only blow up in the destroy ending and I honest;y don't recall the Normandy crash thingy in the leaks. 

The other endings requires Shepard's sacrifice but it still assured that the tech stayed.

As far as I can understand it, it's because the Liara/VS fans complained. I don't think half of them even understood the whole thing was actually avoidable if you could beat Kai Leng without taking too much damage.

Yes, Thane was meant to be potentially killed/injured by Udina instead of Kai Leng in the original script by defending the Asari counciler with his body. While his fight with Kai Leng was pretty sweet, I'm sad this was removed.

And yes, VS stands for Virimire Survivor.

I believe the VS confrontation wasn't going to be centered around the Udina Coup. Pretty sure the coup had something to do with the Hanar homeworld in the leak.

Thessia was changed signifigantly in many ways. Kai Leng's lethality was toned down.

The endings (what segments were in the old leaks) seem basically unchanged.

The Normandy crashing was NEVER included in ANY of the leaked scripts I read, we didn't even know about it until the Space Copies got out. The endings were obscure about Shepard's survival, but it was hinted that survival was possible in more than one/two endings.

Not true. An extremely detailed version of the endings was leaked back in Novemeber. Shepard was meant to survive in more than just a few endings, and tech was meant to be kept in Synthesis/Control. There was also a variation of 'epilogue' where Shepard (if alive) would emerge from the Guardian's ruins, to be greated by their LI and Anderson. Shepard and their LI would hug while Anderson would summerise, casualities, technology, outcome, relays, the future, etc.

The biggest thing I noticed was the VS standoff. It was supposed to occur on Thessia, with Kai Leng having fueled the VS against you to the point of a standoff. You were also supposed to get gravely injured with rebar through your body, and you could only save one of your squadmates in that scene. In other words, it was supposed to be more brutal and Kai Leng was originally much more menacing.

i wonder if the current ones are in do to the leak in the first place

so really they changed what 3 to 5 mintues regarding the normandy?
bioware did say they were gona tweek some things before release so the endings couldve been it


the script endings may be dlc so who knows

I never did read the leak because I did not want to spoil myself, but it sounds like the complainers screwed us over.
