I found him to be quite an interesting character. The reason why you may consider him a jerk is because he was raised to be a soldier in a doomed war against the Reapers long ago. His people turned out to be more aggressive and war like then expected as well. Besides...won't you be a bit dark and doubtful since your own super powerful civilization was completely wided out and you were the last of your kind? He does open up more and become less of a jerk, but he still is harsh at time because he is willing to do anything to get revenge on the Reapers.
very valid point

Umm... I actually suspected that the Protheans were very militarily dominant during their own time. We were given plenty of hints to this during ME1 when we learned about them for the first time. Only race talked about during their time before the extinction event. The fact that they were the Prothean Empire. It smelled of an advanced warlike race that enslaved, or killed those they came across whom were their inferiors.

Yup. Hate him. I was hoping Liara would've killed him.CPT-KIRK wrote...
I know he's a Prothean and all that blah blah... But he's kind of a dick. Every conversation I have with him or overhear makes me want to punch him or completely put his species into extinction. The whole bit with Liara made me come to this conclusion. Anyone else hate this mug or what?

yeah. it really puts the asari into perceptive. i dont want to say too much...but the term "selfish" comes to mind when i think about what i learned...and their attitudes towards things/life makes alot more sense now.
