It's horrible and i hate it. But I'm not spending my money on these guys anymore, and apparently most of you people here aren't either. It's not like they will listen to us, so lets just stop harshing their buzz after releasing their game.
While we're at it, lets see if we can talk all those bigots who trash talk the gay and lesbian romance in ME into being okay with it.
After that, maybe we should see if we can reason with religious zealots.

I
postponed playing SWTOR for a while because of the anticipation of Mass
Effect 3 but still, I payed my subscription so that when I was ready, I
could jump back in. After watching the three different endings to a
game that I have closely followed for so long, I'm just not willing to
pay Bioware/EA another penny until the endings are revamped. It sucked
my soul from my body to see a gaming company that made decision making
games in such a style that all who play can get the ending they like,
pigeon-hole its consumers into a dark ending that left more questions
than answers.
Bioware has always awed me with innovative ways to
invest my time and feelings into their games. This time I feel robbed
of that. I truly hope you can find a way to meet your customers in a
middle ground and allow for not just 3 dark endings to such a marvelous
game, but endings that allow your fan base to truly feel that decisions
matter in a game that is based on the concept of making moral choices
and the rewards / consequences of them.
I hope that with enough
cancelations and refusals to buy more DLCs Bioware/EA will see that
making its fan base settle for what they give them ALSO has
consequences.

Fans have every right to be enraged, they didn't receive what they were promised, and Bioware needs to hear it.

Dropping a series we were all passionate about is not as easy as that.
My thoughts exactly... I think a lot of us here that have such issues with it played every game in the series, imported characters we worked on quite a long time.
I've come to the conclusion that this would be a lot similar if frodo would have just fell into the damn lava at the end of the third movie.
Or wait.. how about a movie where everyone dies at the end.... yeah.. great note to leave it on.

Hamlet's fantastic. But Mass Effect is nowhere near Hamlet. They should've picked a safer ending.

Never saw Melancholia aye? You think ME3 was depressing, go watch that movie.. yeesh, although I still liked it.. ME3 however not so much, as Melancholia was 2 hours, Mass Effect was 100, big difference in investment there.

People are going to keep rolling in here complaining because it was just released and it's going to get finished over the next month or so. Just the way it is.
It's just going to get worse as more and more people finish their games,
Another floodgate just opened today with the European releases.
But, if people want to plug their ears and go "laalalaa" and pretend they dont hear anything, they're the ones that are going to make fools of themselves.

As I said before, I don't think it's EA ruining Bioware, I think it's Bioware's ego ruining Bioware.

Some of us who read the books would've preferred Frodo fall in the lava at the end of the third movie...
But ya know, I say we complain, but we keep it civil. If they decide not to fix the ending, it won't stop me from buying another Bioware game. But it will probably make me more critical of everything in the game.

- I killed myself, the 100000s of ppl on the citadel, it says even my implants would be destroyed... so that means probably killing all biotics... quarians i guess (cus of life support suites)? the Geth, edi, to top it off i stranded LI character liara on a planet with 2 ppl that live only 10% of her lifespan...... and i killed my ship and if thats evidence... everyone else on ships? Oh and anderson. don't forget him.
Thats my reward for doing everything i could and having 7100 military points and no Multiplayer.
