Look... if you hate the game so much then beat it and return it to GameStop and get your money back. That will send a bigger message to BioWare than you complaining here.

I mean you do have several days to return for a refund..................................................................

So you don't like the fact people may not like one part of the game? Someone hates the ending because nothing is explained at the end of a trilogy? People have a right to complain or do you never complain about anything? Why is it someone can't hang onto the game because they like 25+hours of it just not the last 10-15 minutes? Why attack people who want answers not questions? Where are the choices i believe is the biggest arguement with the ending and not which color would you like the pretty explosion to be

It seems the entire game is fine besides the ending. I find it to be stupid to hate on the entire game as a whole because of the ending when the game as a whole was phenomenal.

The story is fine, I just think the endings are perhaps some of the worst endings I've seen in any pieve of fiction ever. The rest of the game is fantastic but...

Mass Effect 3 is, above all, an ending to the trilogy. The ending is the most important part (While this is true of any piece of fiction it is even more important for the end of a series)

im one of those poor SOB's that have ME1 and 2 on a console and got a nice cpu to play 3 on....so we got the vanilla choices the make your rage meter break. the endings made me upset.....and i personaly fealt like the story was ALLOT more lineare then the other 2.....maby its just me.....but i feel like allot of games that came out this year and last were kinda letdowns. i dont know if i can name said games but yeah....either im getting picky with my games or devs are getting lazy....

one more thing.....REALLY A STOCK PICTURE....might as well kick me in the ballsack and say my inflamed testacles are what tali looks like.

i loved the first 2 games......but this one just killed me....and why no talk from bioware about all the backlash?:bandit:

How hard would it be to trigger in a slideshow (reminiscent of Dragon Age Origins) after a specific cutscene in the game? All of the people bashing the game's canon ending might be interested to know how tough it'd be to create their own resolution, or at least those with programming/design experience could gather their forces together and save the galaxy from nerd-raging torment and thread lock and after lock. I mean how much coding would be involved to mod in that?

It's not FMV creation, it's a slideshow with some art/text after a specific point in the game, which I'm presuming most angry people would agree would be at the point where those two characters are sitting and looking at that location (vague spoiler-free descriptions-ho!)

I love the story/game up to the end. The last couple of minutes ruin almost everything for me. I am not going to play this game for a while and see what Bioware is doing about it. If nothing I am probably going to throw all three games off my computer to make room for something ... different.

AlexXIV, May I use your signature?  It reflects my sentiments exactly!  Especially the new credits!

Neither. I hate the lack of choices. The ending I got was pretty emotional, and I liked it. What I really hated is that I can't really do much to change it. There's very little variety.

i agree in a sense i hated the ending but even tho i hate it it makes me cry everytime i watch it =(

The story is amazing. The ending then turns around and invalidates everything you've done in the last three games... and there's nothing you can do about it.

Actually, the story sucks BECAUSE of the ending (which also sucks, horribly) - so you're getting a buy-one-get-one-free deal on suckitude when you purchase ME3.

And if you call within the next 15 minutes, BW will triple your order of suckitude as the entire plots for both ME1 and 2 are rendered utterly pointless.

You'll also get a free complimentary Day 1 DLC (just pay shipping and handling).

You just can't beat that deal, folks. Bioware delivers on the suckage in a big way this time around.

The game is epic.
The trilogy is epic.
The story is epic.

The journey, the ride, is absolutely mind-blowingly incredible.

The ending is "passable," "decent," or even "medicore." Disappointing for some who put all their eggs into the ending basket. Fitting? Sure. And for some that's fine, but if I'm trying to seperate the legitimate people who are unhappy with the end from the trolls? The legitimately unhappy folk are unhappy because an epic saga should have an epic ending, not a medicore to decent ending.

On that, I agree. I personally don't hate the ending. I understand those who do.

Expand and build on it, yes please. Take your variables into account. Alter the ending based on those factors (if you played you know the various factors and the 'theme' of the ending,) and I think boom +5000 Goodwill goes back to Bioware.

Exactly. It would be so easy for them to correct this. We are showing our support for them through our continued concern. If we didn't care, we'd simply stop buying their products without further comment, but we believe a mutually beneficial solution can still be achieved. That is why we're here. The only question now is if they'll listen and act accordingly.

I love the story to death. Perhaps the best story I've ever seen in a game, if not it's at least far up there. There's so many dynamics to it, so many choices to make in it, and so many emotional and impacting moments.

Then the last ten minutes ruin it.

The ending is the issue. It had no relation to anything else in the 120+ hours of *incredible* gameplay building up to it, and all seemed extremely out of place in a universe that's all about doing your own thing basically coming up and giving you an ending *literally* copy-pasted from DeusEx 12 years ago (right down to the colors involved!) except that the choices all pretty much end the same way.

Rannoch and Tuchanka are amazing. Quarian arc is a spectacle, Mordin's arc is an emotional roller coaster.

The finale starts showing cracks as early as Horizon. Battle on Earth doesn't paticularly reflect your choices. The TIM/Anderson scene is well written... God-Kid is a crime against the written word.

The ending was anything but 'fitting'.

It was a blatant Deus/Diabolus Ex Machina that broke from the established major themes to give a set of choices unrelated to and previous foreshadowing, are all unnecessarily destructive, almost literally destroyed the universe, provides no closure, introduces numerous plot-holes, and breaks from the relatively 'grounded' ME mythos in exchange is existential space-magic.

The last 5-10 minutes were the worst experience in my gaming carree, though this is partially because everything else in the series, even 99% of ME3 leading up to it were so damn good.

The title of last Mass Effect book was perfect to describe what fans are felling about the ME3 end.

I don't hate either and I don't think the ending needs "fixed", in fact it was pretty much what I was expecting given the themes that ran through the trilogy and the nature of the enemy. Didn't see the point of the Buzz Aldrin bit, mind you.

Really not getting the "invalidates the whole three games" type comments.

Love the entire story..... right up to the stupid god kid thing.
What they should have done there is had an epic and final confrontation with harbinger.

Like most said, ending ruined the game for me. Personally big let down. Everything else was nice. I really loved story of ME series and played ME1 and ME2 through many times.

Now i cant touch these games anymore when i know how it will end. Almost wish ME3 never came.

BUT, i can understand if some find ending fitting and touching.

Good game is like a good book. You want to live experience again. With this ending, i pass second round.

As said storyline was epic until end.
