I'll preface I think everything after the three choices are the delirium of a critically injured Shepard, but to the point:  How would have liked to see it end?

I imagined Shepard saves the galaxy, gets rescued by a SAR team ala ME1, and then the screen fades.  Cue to Normandy decommissioning ceremony 20 years later.  Shepard is there is there with love interest, obviously older.  The ceremony is also his/her retirement.  Cue filler to everything and have the mainstays come by to give their goodbyes, each telling you what happened like a flashback.  Ties up all the loose ends and you see even the minor characters fates.  Of course if Shepard dies you do the funeral thing like Dragon Age 1.

I think it should have allowed an epic verbal battle proving that Shepard is so awesome, he has solved the issues behind synthetic life killing organics exampled by the geth and edi. Taking into account actions with legion in part 2. Nice complex choices that fall back on past experiences from ME1 and ME2. Victory in the debate with this 'higher lifeform' results in the reapers being destroyed and a full united council of all space faring races... synthetic ones included.... Maybe let shepard take part in this if the player chooses. Romanced char should get closure showing that actually worked out in the end.. maybe a Ceremony... followed up by glimpses of how all of our favorite characters retired after the Epicness to close the story on all of the survivors.

I think though the risk of losing a race.. or supporting character should always be present. Should always be risk based on actions..

For one, I would've had Avina instead of that stupid child play the part of the interaction at the top of the Citadel-- consider EDI pretending to be a VI while on the Normandy.

Sadly, I can't get beyond "Thank you for selecting "destroy the reapers." Have a nice day!" <explosion>
