I have what's probably a mod problem, but since I recently reinstalled the game I thought I'd post to see if anyone might know what's going on w/o my having to reinstall again.

I've found that the Minor Globe of Invulnerability spell blocks Sunfire (it's much more useful now! lol), but it works against all the other level 5 spells I've tried.

edit: It isn't a mod problem.  I wound up reinstalling the game again (sigh) and testing it vanilla.  My copy's from gog.com, so it's patched, but still MGoI blocks Sunfire:
