 If you were a Stargate major fan, and in the last episode you found that:

• Some allien god-child poped out of nowhere and provided three absurd options
  for Jack Oneil to save the earth.
• Jack Oneil would inevitably die in most options
• All stargates would be destroyed
• The rest of SG-1 would be stranded offworld, with slim chances of returning
• Jack Oneil might never see Samantha Carter again

What would you feel?

I believe the Ark of Truth was the 'happy ending' version of what we got in Mass Effect 3 (no lead up and completely out of sync) and I hated the deus ex machina just as much then as I do now. Thankfully in Stargate they had another movie which was much more palatable but I still can't stand that movie. I've put playing ME3 on hold until they come out with a patch for the graphics and bugs- deus ex machina endings are bad enough without frustrations that the game's ninety-nine percent awesome is marred by issues.
