This appears to be a major issue with a lot of people and surprise, surprise virtually nothing in the Official Support Pages:
The damn game will not instal from disc or from download. Keeps bringing up the error message: error_must_be_admin.
I've tried logging on as local admin on the PC and still brings up the same message.
With all the hassles I've now had installing BF3 and not being able to install ME3, I can safely say this will be the last EA game I'll ever waste my money on.
My personal opinion is that Biowares' biggest mistake ever, was climbing into bed with EA. Well you've lost another client that's been a firm supporter since the Baldur's Gate days.

Game does install from discs. What are you talking about. If you have retail disks it installs right off of them. So many posts about this, what is the confusion and hassle. You put the disk in your drive and select autorun.exe and it does the rest. People computes must be messed up or something. Good luck.

Granted it's installed fine for a lot of people, but with the number of installation issues on this forum, it's plain to see that there are serious issues with this game. It appears that this game should never have been released now, and I would have a serious look at the beta testing process.
