Hi guys, i am italian.
On our forums, we think that the ending was done so because of lack of time (or money?).
It 'was what you got ready and had done a patchwork.

motivation: The final equal (except for the light colored), memories of Liara for all (even if you do not avevauna relationship with her), the presence of EDI (but was not on Earth?) on the Normandy who escapes without reason, lack of epilogue ecc

What do you think?

Where are the multiple endings announced until a few days ago by bioware?

Michael Gamble: "There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets?"

Thanks, e sorry my bad english Image IPB

Thanks for visiting! I figured that the endings and their reception would be a universal thing. Sooner or later, Bioware will have no choice but to say something.

Anyway, apparently they like these endings. They intentionally shipped them as is because that's how they thought it appropriate to conclude the game. As for what they'll do now that they've received overwhelmingly bad reviews based on the ending alone is a complete mystery.

Deadlines can make everyone loco, EA is probably to blame for this.

See that 637-page thread about endings?
That's exactly what we are doing there. Trying to figure out wat was that.

On you question, no, bioware doesn't mention anything about more endings.
We can only hope.

I think it was definitely due to a lack of time/resources. Probably in no small part due to them wasting so much on multiplayer. =/

No problem with your english, you got your point across fine. Good question - a whole lot of us would like to know what happened to the multiple endings. That's why I'm asking Bioware for a DLC to give us more variety.

I have no idea why the ending is the way it is, but yes it does have a rushed feel to it.

I wouldn't call time spent on multiplayer "wasted." It's actually really fun. I do wish that there was a little more variety in game modes and maybe some more maps.

However, multiplayer to me will never be more than a side-dish in the mass effect games as we know them.

I could imagine.
There were some events that weren't actually making any sense. I mean the fate of the Normandy of course. There were characters that should be either dead or badly wounded as they accompanied me at the final charge. It felt out of place.
It felt like it was a possible outcome that served as a placeholder for other endings, a placeholder that never got exchanged with the real one.

"memories of Liara for all (even if you do not avevauna relationship with her)"

This, so this, if you're having a "life flash before your eyes" scenario you'd think your love interest would pop up.

Yet again, small details mean a lot.
