Prothy the Prothean is way cooler, since he's something new. Wish we could talk more to him/have more missions with him since he's definitely the most entertaining and interesting character in the series.

The whole dialogue during the boxing scene was great...it really added some perspective to the other side of the fight against the Collector's. Very well done.

He's okay. I'd rather have him than not but but why the hell are there only 7 squad members!? This makes me pretty sad. Also, what happened to the squad member quests?
Well, they wanted to put the emphasis on deeper relationships with a smaller squad...but then they gave everyone Zaeed-level dialogue, so...not really sure

ME1 had six squadmates, so what's the problem? As for the loyalty missions, that's not the focus of ME3. In ME2 it was all about building an army out of individuals and keeping their personal distractions to a minimum so they would be able to be able to complete the suicide mission. ME3 doesn't have time for personal agendas. It's about recruiting entire races for an all out galactic war.

I don't think there was a way to have a final conversation with him during the final battle in London.
I had a final conversation with him as femshep.....

I think the conversations with him as femshep are generally better as well. The tattoo one, and getting him to stammer, was priceless. The verbal sparring between him and Cortez is good too.
@PsychoticPenguin: I went to a military school for college, and he's definitely a well done caricature of one of the types of personalities that the military attracts. I knew a number of guys that acted a lot like Vega...even had one as a roommate one year.

Too bad he's now stranded on some distant garden world with the rest of my traitorous rebel crew who fled me in my final moments of need after all we'd been through together.

Did anyone else find the infamous sparring scene a bit disturbing when playing femshep though? I mean, I know femshep's tough, but seeing a guy just punch a woman right in the face like that to the point where she's bleeding, especially when they're just roughhousing is kind of hard to watch. I think 99% of men, regardless of orientation have something in them that will literally not let them punch a woman. Like, if they tried, everything in their body would naturally be holding them back.

They integrated squad member quests with the main quests. i.e. Tali on Rannoch, Liara on Thessia, EDI with Cerberus base.t003 wrote...

It's possible I walked by him without seeing anything because the setting was so dark. And I thought I was being thorough.
The chemistry between him and FemShep was great; both the casual flirting and the mentor/student bonding.
