I'm already being ridiculed by family for playing computer games, no need to antagonise them further by appearing to talk to myself whilst playing. I'm sure others have their own reasons why they don't have or want a mic, so chat box is definitely essential to multiplayer games.

If they're your friends, you can chat to them through Origin. However, I much prefer a mic for tactical purposes.

Mine does not work in ME3, well actually it does but I have to yell into it as loud as I can. And you say it's my end? Then why does vent, TS, and mumble work perfectly?
WTb text chat. Not played a PC game yet with built in voice software that actually works good.

This. For the love fuzzy kittens. Please this. I don't use a mic for a number of reasons, and not even being able to coordinate in lobby, or help out someone that has no idea what they're doing, is extremely frustrating.
