Not like it's that hard. And I'm tired of hearing people say stuff and not be able to understand it.

Halo 2 Vista is frequently cited as the worst console-to-PC port ever (of all time), but it still has a well-integrated text chat.
halo is part of microsoft game(microsoft have their copyright) so they can still get profit from PC and xbox
while mass effect is not microsoft game
so if they want to gain profit, they need them on xbox because the developer(bioware) need to pay in order to develop and sell on xbox.
there is some contract that microsoft / sony need others 3rd party to sign up , which they can gain benefit/profit from the game. and these contract is strict with advantage to microsoft/sony.
so this may in term of several terms of use that not allow bioware to make a more advantage environment for PC like the text chat, otherwise they can't publish on Xbox
maybe there is other non microsoft game that can have text chat box on cross platform (feel free to tell me, i am interest) but there must get some sort of restriction. or simply say all about money
and i can't think of other reasons apart from money and laziness, that make bioware make this game without textchat . as long as this game build and game balance looks so gd

It never crossed my mind that fixing something would mean removing it.
Guess this goes along with the high-res textures that were promised for the full release. For those I do not really care, I played the game just fine without. But missing chat in a team-based game is a different story.

Still can't get over the fact that the chat binding was in the PC demo. It didn't work, but when asked about it, they said that everything would be fixed for release.

Not to mention, the binding is actually still there, which is why you can't assign any commands in-game to 'T'.
Only through modding the Coalesced.bin, (on PC).

I belong to a TS server for multiple games... ME3 being one of them. Too bad I can't invite anybody I think is a decent player to join. Heck, most of our members came from R6V2, by texting in lobby. For such a great game, ME3 seems to be lacking in certain key components. This being one of the only things i felt needed to be adressed in forum format. BTW, even though I thought the storyline could have been different, this seems to bother me more... Neeeeed Text Chat!!!
Wh'aat we have heear... Is a FAILURE to COMUNICATE!!!....
