Yeah, once again, please put the chat back but as a working one this time.
And as this is not a game where we play against other people, it should have no problems to allow dead/alive communication.
Needed chat to say "hey, revive others" when they just sniper away in some corner, so many times that I've lost count.

Text chat is sorely needed. A lot of people aren't willing/unable to talk on a mic. Text chat would greatly improve teamwork.

I would like to see the option of a text chat also as I've been in several multiplayer matches with some experienced and not so experienced players who all had mics and when they were asking me questions about things I couldn't answer as I don't have a mic myself. I'm more than willing to help people out but need the ability to do so

+1, have been wanting this since my first matches in the demo. Text chat is really a no-brainer in a PC multiplayer.

The thing is, there's an option in Keybindings to set a keybind for text chat. It just doesn't do anything in-game.

I would've liked to thank those three guys that played trough several silver challenges with me, but I couldn't, I just had to leave silently.

Also it'd be great if you could add someone on Origin in-game, because sometimes you get playing with some right characters, but forget their name and never see them again

This is so true! I was playing last night with some American guys and they were fantastic team-mates and very comical, had a whale of a time but couldn't let them know it and would gladly play some matches with them again.
