Howdy,
Alright, this game has seriously pissed me off.
After experiencing several game-breaking glitches on the 360, I decided to get this game for the PS3. On the 360 version, I had problems trying to exit the raw Fade after defeating the Sloth demon (post Niall dialogue). The loading screen would freeze, and I would have to reset the console and repeat the whole process.
I got the PS3 version and hoped there wouldn't be any game-breaking glitches. I grinded my way through the levels, and everything was going fine until the loading screen froze <b>in the exact same area.</b>
Words cannot express my frustration. I'm very close to sending both versions directly to Bioware along with a very nasty letter (a copy of which will be submitted to the Better Business Bureau).
This will probably get lost in the forums, but I just wanted to put this out there in case some of you may have experienced something similar, or perhaps offer some words of advice.

Alright, just an update for interested parties:
I traded in the defective disc for a new one. Installed it, created a new character, ran through it until the end of the Sloth battle, loading screen pops up and exits as it's supposed to. Alrighty. Decided to run to Redcliff and finish up that quest and stopped just before initiating the Urn of Sacred Ashes mission.
This character is about 10 hours into the game, using no glitches and only getting half of the freebie attribute pickups in the Fade.
On the fly, I decided to create another character. Everything was going smoothly until the Sloth battle, where I hit that damn glitch again (freezes about 1/2-3/4 into the loading screen).
So.
My first character seems to be running fine, but my second character can't level up because it can't get past the Fade mission. It seems this game, for some odd reason, can't multitask between characters. Odd and frustrating.
Anyone else experienced this?

i haven't yet. my first playthrough was basically flawless
