I just got through playing the game, like most people I'm dissapointed.. even a little frustrated. Heres the thing, the ending would be fine, if this was a book, movie or TV show. ME 3 is a game. We don't just watch Shepard, we ARE Shepard. His/Her choises are ours. MY shepard wouldn't have gone down like thiat. She doesn't believe in a "no-Win" senerio. Whats the point of playing a game a certain way, make certain choices then have NO chance to have a satisfying ending.
And theres the logical problems to. For example, I got the Destroy the reapers ending. Ok, the reapera, Earth and the relays are wiped out, But what about the other Reapers, the ones who invaded Thessia, or the ones on Tuchanka. Unless all the reapers were near Earth, there is no way to be sure that they were all extinct, making Shepard's sacrafice meaningless. I'm not asking for them to change anything. Justadd something to let make my Shepard's choices mean something.
anyway, I've vented enough...
The Problem with the ending

Well said. Also game shown before that Shep does impossible, that he can get everyone safely from suicide mission. Peace between Geth and Quarians shows that it's possible, so star boy is wrong.
We were always told that decisions and performance matters and everyone expected for it to be true. Especially in finale where there they didn't need to worry about "What will we do in ME4".
They could let us do everything.

I think the shockwaves spread through all the relays and spread through the whole galaxy. I don't like the endings, but I think they do explain that. I agree with Craven though. That little space kid says it's not possible and yet my crew was composed of two freakin synthetics. I even bartered peace between the embittered Quarians and Geth. What is the deal.

Pretty good point, Mev.
In the end, I felt like it was a big slap in the face. All this time growing attached to the characters, making sacrifices, busting my butt to save as many people as possible... and it all meant nothing.
If this is some joke, I'm not laughing.

Besides the presentation and the complete lack of difference in the endings... I got all three choices and picked Synthesis. The problem is that whatever you pick Shepard dies.(don't care about the gasping Easter Egg) and the Mass Relays go boom and when what happens when mass relays go boom. Especially since give a nice shot of the Relays across the Galaxy going boom. There needs to be more variety in the endings. Some where Relay network is destroyed, some where its not, all built around picking 1 of the 3 choices. They are always needs to be on for reuniting with crew based off if you can talk TIM down... so he, you and Anderson end up at the Catalyst.
Edit: There always needs to be explaination of the Catalyst...its kinda clear that is a created and left over a from a long forgotten Civilation that was wiped out by its own creations. Also explain how the Crucible changed the Catalyst when it connected.

Oh but I disagree, the gasping "Easter egg" is part of the ending. If Shepard lives it at least means something.

Thing is though, I don't even mind Shepard Dying... as long as his/her death means something. This way, you let the reapers kill everyone or destroy the Earth which is what you were trying to STOP from happening... I hope Bioware fixes this..
