This makes so much sense. Think about it. If the ending didn't suck so much then the Mass Effect universe would completely overshadow the Star Wars universe. Suddenly we would have Mass Effect: Special Forces dealing with the fallout from the Reaper War. You wouild create your character and play in the universe created by Shepard. Lucas cannot allow this so he ASSUMED DIRECT CONTROL and told Microsoft to leak the script and sabotage the real ending. Knowing fans would hate what was in the leaked script, it would cause Bioware to pull some steaming hunk of feces out of their asses and smear it on to the last ten mins of the game, leaving it forever tainted. Bioware got indoctrinated by little green paper with Reaper tech.
