This may help others having install issue.

I was abit gutted to find Origin being forced upon me. So I closed it after it asked for my details, this ended the installer.
I came and searched here for an answer. Apparently no Origin, no game (which sucks big time).

I installed from DVD in the end by doing the following;

1)Login into Origin,
2)Start the installer from DVD (it will see you have origin installed and logged in).
3)Register game with Origin.
4)Origin takes you to download page, it will then start to install from the DVD.

Thankfully it installed without a hitch.
