HI guys,
I am at University and our residential network or ResNet doesn't allow me to activate the game on campus due to a proxy. The problem can be seen here... http://i.imgur.com/6ZGve.jpg clicking on the enter product code takes me to the following http://i.imgur.com/ZYsuP.jpg . This is when the network can't detect the proxy in the browser settings but I don't even know what browser thats supposed to be. (Firefox, IE and Chrome are all set up fine).
To get around this I installed the game on a laptop and went to a friends house in town to validate it and it worked. I brought it back to campus and it worked on the laptop (I was able to connect to the ea server as well on the main menu). I was under the impression that this was a one time activation and that if I activated on one device, it would work on others by default. Am I mistaken here or is it because the game was already installed on my main desktop computer?
***Desperate Plea Incoming***
If this is read by a Bioware employee by any chance, is there anything you could possibly do on your end in terms of activating my copy if I provided my key or something?

Hey man, looks like you in Lancs Uni same here
and I have the exact same issue as you. Nice to know someones having similar problems. I've also tried reconfiguring settings for all my browsers to work with resnet but I'm not sure how origin and ME3 get their proxy details or even if they can be set :/ Let me know if you have any joy getting it to work

I managed to get my computer home for the weekend and activate it there, like I said, it works fine if you can get it activated off campus some how, once the game is running there are one or two issues to do with the connectivity online (don't think the MP works).
So if you can't get it activated off campus, it looks like you're gonna have to wait until Lent term ends which isn't far off. Plus the webcache is going during the holidays so we shouldn't run into any of these silly problems again
