Guys, it all makes sense. Just look.

Expect the Control option and Ashley romance to be Canon. You need to know one thing for the countinuity of the franchise. Shephard, had, unprotected sex, with ashley. John Shepards story is over, but Shepards Son will be the new hero in ME4. Ashley (Shepards mother) will play an Admiral roll and everything will be good to go.

Not sure. I doubt if Control Ending is canon - but synthesis can be.

As they made FemShep line stronger, I would forget about that "sex scene" I would look for a different angle.

Mass Effect is a a trilogy for Shepard but hes dead and like OP said there was sex scene so. And for the female shepard or the same sex one say they made a genetic baby.

I'm pretty sure Tolkien wrote more than 3 books about the LotR universe....

Edit: That said, it was never meant to be 3 books to begin with.

Sure, the LOTR proper is a trilogy. But don't forget The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.

More to the point though is they're gong to milk ME3 for all its worth which, if they don't do something about these endings, is only going to be a teensy squirt of sour milk.

They probably will release coop dlc as in custom apperances and mappacks but there wont be a NEW mass effect game, DLC for me3 yes but not a proper new game ala mass effect 4, atlest thats what they said.

EA/Bioware can pull whatever stunt they want but as for me, I think dipping my toes in the Mass Effect universe again is not going to happen after this slap in the face.

ME3 shipped 3.5 million units with like 800,000 already sold. Plan on their being another installment.

Joker wasn't on Earth, there was 2 or 3 moons if I remember correctly.

No idea where they landed since there's no other planet in the sol system with "green stuff" and multiple moons. Bit odd too, since the relays are gone.

Yes there are no relays but look at it this way: The Reaper invasion brought the Galaxy together, if they can build the Crucible in 2 months they sure as hell can rebuild the relays. If Shep JR gets delivered 1 yr after Shepard dies and he doesnt enter ME4 till 30 that gives then 30 years to rebuild, and 30 years for new threats to rise.

We all know there will be an ME4; the rEApers demand that their franchises be milked until they are no longer profitable. Either BioWare will retcon the endings with DLC/A patch, or we're going to get a canon ending, probably control since it changes the status quo the least.

There will be a squeal. MS said halo 3 was about "finishing the fight" and now master chief starts a new fight in Halo 4 (another planned trilogy) . Gears of War is getting its own prequel trilogy. So if its guaranteed to make EA 50-100 million in net profits why not? sounds like easy money to them.

We don't know who controls the reapers but their plans failed in mass effect 3. Either way will be hearing from mass effect within 3 years in time for Xbox720 and PS4. I don't see how an import will work (Unless they decide 1000 years have passed since the reaper invasion, Which means all characters are dead and allows for a fresh storyline).

I don't know how much profit they made so far but I am sure they have made more than 100 million in net profits from ME3.
