Okay, let me just say that first off, I have been a dedicated follower of this game since, I don't know, forever. For the past six months I haven't read ANYTHING about Mass Effect 3, so everything was a surprise.

I'd like to start with the character import problem. This was slightly dissapointing at first, but since I have a good photographic memory, I was able to recreate my Shepard's face and fix the problems he had before. So, no big deal.

I played this game the way I played the other two. Beat the crap out of missions, side missions and collected every special little item. Did some multiplayer (and plan on doing more), too.

What I want to say most is that, although the ending was not what I expected (cause, I guess most people just wanna retire on a vacation resort after a decade of fighting a war against the Reapers?), it was amazing, emotional. It felt good, despite Shepard not being able to see Tali again.

The decision was a tough one. I didn't want control of the Reapers. That sounded like a bad idea. I didn't want to create a new DNA, that sounded like the original plan all over again. So, I destroyed all synthetic life. Sorry Joker. (also, I shot The Illusive Man. I played my main Shepard the way I react to things in real life. When given the option to shoot him, I did. I wanted him dead more than anything else, aside from the Reapers)

But, 2 things:

1. In my ending, right after Tali, Joker and Garrus exit the Normandy, the scene jumps back to the destroyed citadel and focuses on Shepard. Right before the credits roll, he gasps for air. At that exact moment, I felt my heart skip a beat. But, BioWare, you say this is his last game, that's a bit saddening. I do like the fact that it's sort of open for my own interpretation there, though.

2. After the credits, an old man (not sure who he was) is talking to a child. Was the entire trilogy a story an older man telling a tale to a child?

All-in-all, awesome. This trilogy blew me away. I love scifi, I love space. Mass Effect, for me, has been a dream. I can't wait to play through all 3 of them again, maybe a few more times. And I really hope to see another game in the ME universe, maybe... FIRST CONTACT WAR?! HUH?

Alright, that's it.

I should go.

Yeah, I enjoyed the ending too. I choose to control the reapers because destroying the Geth after all I did to save them and create peace between them and the Quarians... I couldn't do that. It's depressing that Shepard and Tali won't be able to build a home on her planet but I guess wasn't expecting a happy ending.

I just wish they left that stupid Normandy scene out of the game. It made no sense at all and ruined a lot of the mystery. Why was Normandy flying away from earth? Why was Tali on the Normandy when she was last seen charging the beam with me? Where did they land and what could a bunch of different species possibly do on a remote planet without a ship?

It would have been such a better ending with that scene alone cut out.

Yes, I agree with you there. I was worried that Tali got blown to bits, but to my surprise she's back on the Normandy on this strange, illustrious planet! I also had Liara with me though and she was nowhere to be seen. Kinda felt bad for telling her that I only wanted to be friends.

I guess they were flying away, though, because of the pulse the Crucible set off.
