So I was about to hit earth and decided to talk to my crew one last time. As I made my way to the battery to chat with Garrus something unexpected happened, as the door opened I see him and Tali engaged in a kiss (head bump). When they see me they play it off but eventually admit what they where doing, I told them I approved. Very nice surprise.

This was one of the best moments in the game for me. I'm just walkin around the ship, go to the battery, door opens....WHAT THE HECK? I knew it was gonna happen eventually. Still a great moment.

If you take Garrus with you on the Quarian missions with Tali, you get some clues that this is coming. Tali sounds jealous when Garrus tells her that Dr. Michel bought him chocolate, and there was another snippet of dialogue where Garrus starts teasing Tali and she replies, "I missed you too, Garrus."

This is the only thing that made up, in any capacity, for my Shepard's Garrus romance not continuing. It didn't make up very much, but it did some, because it was a great moment.

It felt like fanservice to me, when I heard about it
Though I feel like there was a lot of it in the game, most of it felt kinda forced. Like they took inside jokes and quirks from the last game and made them not inside or quirky anymore because its now a real central thing.
Like mordin singing in me2 was funny buy him doing iton tuchanka felt fanservicey. Same thing for victus mentioning garrus said something about xalibratio

That's too sweet! It came as a surprise to me since I didn't have Garrus with me on that mission. I laughed so hard!! Love that they got together!

I actually really loved the jokes about those things. It made the NPCs seem like they were more part of your crew and not just there taking orders from Shepard. Like they all knew each other a little more and actually chatted with each other. Plus the 'fanservice' quips on calibrations always made me laugh. Gotta love Garrus

I think it's sweet. I romanced Garrus in my FemShep game, but in my ManShep game, he will totally be Garrus's horrible wingman and give awkward, unsolicited romantic advice when he finds out XD

It.made me laugh to, but what makes it funny, as with most memes, is that it was a quirk that became an inside joke. It's wasn't intended to be a joke, like shepards hilarious dance animation, when I jack says u suck at dancing it feels like my mom caught on to an inside joke I have with my friends

Yeah, I don't count the picture Shepard gets from her as real. I just say she's reminding me that only I see what she truly is with my own eyes, not a picture. Or some sort of reaper indoctrination conspiracy therory.

lol, I just got a great visual of Shep's mom catching him trying to dance. I guess maybe I'm just a dork, but I like that stuff. I think they didn't go too overboard with it, since it was just here and there. It easily could have gotten out of hand, but I don't think it did. For the most part, I loved those moments.

I love it. I am also happy for them both. Especially after reading the Broker intel about Kal'Reegar. I totally thought Tali would end up with him.

Garrus comments on it, too. Another issue I had with Garrus/Tali is that it's either just a fling or it's a fish/bird situation (if you ignore the ending where they're both standed on some random jungle planet). Tali will want to go home to her people and Garrus will want...to be someplace that isn't there presumably.
