I rewrote the geth in ME2, destroyed fighter squads, saved Koris, and let Legion upload the code, yet the quarians are still destroyed, what have i done wrong?

Whats your paragon/renegade rep at?? you need it extreamly high to charm the pants off them. Plus was Tali exiled in 2???

No, she wasn't I have a new game+ and have quite a lot of renegade, I could charm everyone in the game except for the very last TIM line. Also, no charm option appeared.

you should've destroy heretics.
peace depends some type of point system, if you have more then 5 points there's a peace:
2 - destroy heretics - ME2
1 - support tali during trial, she must remain in the fleet - ME2
1 - destroy reaper base - ME3
1 - save koris - ME3
i think i wrote correct

revo76, I rewrote the heretics and was able to save both Quarians and Geth. There must be other factors like whether you took the Renegade interrupt on Garrel (I was tempted to, but didn't), and I presume your total reputation score is the most important factor.

I took the renegade interrupt on Garrel and still was able to broker a peace. I'm pretty sure it's mostly based on your rep score. It could also be that you may need to talk to Raan. She's got a couple of dialogue options. There's also the paragon interrupt with Admiral Xen that might help as well.

You need the one stripe before the last in rep. Besides that, you did everything fine. I do say keep talking to all admirals on the ship. Until nothing new appears, then after doing the destroy fighters quest. Rewriting the heretics is fine, worked for me. Also make sure Tali isn't exiled using the speech. You saved Korris, this is good. Destroy Reaper base, that's the quest which initializes the choice in the end. So again, make sure you have an almost full Rep bar (I had it almost filled the last bar wasn't) I could speech them
Let Legion upload, then at 40 percent of the upload if you don't get the charm option. Restart it and make sure you do everything above

PS: There are also "talks" going on, listen and "side" with whoever is going for the peaceful thing

It's also very important to take out the com-tower, before doing the reaper base mission. There is critical information in that mission that probably sways the quarians. I did it out of order the first time, and the quarians died.

Ok, I'll do that, also I forgot to mention that tali is innocent in ME2 and I couldn't interrupt her fight with legion with charm but I apologised to legion afterwards.Does it still count? Also, when I started my new game+ I was hoping I could increase my renegade meter but I apparently couldn't.My renegade meter is slightly above 3 bars and the rest is paragon. On my first playthrough, I could charm everyone(not including the peace talks) except the very last renegade option with TIM.
By the way does the death mask still give that renegade bonus?

Alright, I preserved Tali's reputation without sacrificing her father's at the trial.
I used the Paragon choice in the Tali/Legion fight and kept them at peace.
Destroyed the Reaper Base
Just spoke with the Quarians and invited Tali to Shepard's cabin for some 'us' time.
Fixing to start the Rannoth missions. When do the N7 missions show up to build the possibility of peace?

How to get peace points...
DESTROY Heretics in Legion's loyalty mission in ME2 - 2 Points
Tali not Exiled WITHOUT turning in evidence- 2 Points
Solve Legion/Tali conflict in ME2 with Paragon/Renegade dialogue - 1 Point
2 Quarian N7 missions in ME3 - 1 Point each
Promote Peace at Tali's trial (Possible requirement)
Tali and Legion MUST both have survived ME2
Rescue the Admiral in the N7 mission, not the civilians
You need 5 points for peace. During this scene, choose to have Legion upload the data. Then, when the next choice comes up, choose the Blue or Red options.
You DON'T HAVE TO DESTROY THE GETH HERETICS IN ME2! It's just worth 2 points, so it makes it easier.
----
Only thing I did differently from this is rewriting the geth and choosing "we're letting the geth die" first. Of course, high reputation is important, too.

Does it still count if I didn't solve the Tali/Legion dispute with a Paragon/Renegade choice? I just told Legion after to secure both loyalties again.
