What I can't deal with about the ending

Dear Bioware,

Let me first go through what I CAN deal with about the choice you made for the Mass Effect 3 narrative:

I can deal with a non-action ending sequence in the Citadel where I just press W and listen to conversation.
I can deal with a random introduction of a Citadel AI that happens to look like the kid representing the face of humanity.
I can deal with Shepard being alone in the last moments before deciding the fate of the galaxy.
I can deal with Shepard dying in most of the endings and just barely
being alive in one of them (sigh, fine; tease us if you must).
I can deal with the energy blast from the Citadel arbitrarily being different colors.
I can deal with the Normandy being in FTL or Mass Relay travel moments before the galactic color explosion.
I can deal with the Normandy being stranded on a random planet.
I can deal with the most expansive fleet in the galaxy being stranded in one sector of the galaxy.
I can even deal with the ending choices harkening back to other great science fiction games, making us think about the philosophical and physical consequences of our singular choice.

But what I can't deal with is an ending that seems to be copy/pasted. Bioware, your flagship game, the one that was (and in many respects is still) your crowning achievement, deserves better than this as a conclusion.

I fully understand you may wish to add more on to the game and make it even more awesome than before. But I do wish that you had made the standalone game one far more satisfactory in the way you presented the ramifications of the 3 major ending choices, since you already made the narrative decision to place these choices in front of us. The final word in a series of excellent games shouldn't be an empty echo in the vacuum of space.

My two cents proffered.

PS - what does BSN think?
